330ml can. Pours like a wheat beer, hazy orange with a white head. Minimal carbonation. Nose is bready, wheat grain, sour apple, gooseberry, seaweed and a salty hint. Decent mouth feel, dry and refreshing. Taste is sour fruit, white wine like, salty and slightly sweet. The first gose beer I've tried and I like it. wouldn't want any more than one at a time, but will buy again.

October 2017 - Keg at Mother Kelly's as Magic Rock Salty Kiss Gooseberry, 4.1%. Pours a hazy golden dark yellow, translucent and still with a foamy white ring of head. Aroma is green tree air freshener, lime and gooseberry. Body is smooth with soft carbonation. Taste is an interesting mix of cheap white wine, wine and lemonade spritzer, salt, lime and gooseberry. Definitely tastes like a gose (I'm saying this because a lot of "goses" don't). Also tastes like wine made up with lemonade. Decent. (6-4-6-4-14=3.4)

hay, resin, citrus, pale, minimal head, lightly sour, salty, light body, average carbonation. Could do with more gooseberry flavour - it's only just there. If it didn't say gooseberry on the can I'd never have spotted it.

330mL can from Carwyn Cellars. BB 14/06/18 Hazy pale gold body, dense white head. Subtle aroma - grainy, cereal malt, lightly fruity, kind of citrusy, vinous (not exactly sure what gooseberry smells like?). Light body, slightly tart, slightly salty, twangy, clean. Flavours are once again sort of subtle - grains, brine/seaweed, unripe stonefruit, watered down lemon, slight touch of hay-like funk. Bitey finish. Was expecting a bit more fruit intensity, enjoyable light refreshing beer either way.

On draft in Lewes. This seems just about as straightforward of an example of gose as I can remember ever having. The saltiness hangs out in the background but doesn't dominate, and the tartness is moderate and simple, which is nice and refreshing. Doesn't break the mold, but doesn't disappoint.

12/20 nice tartness, get a bit of gooseberry in the aftertaste as well as the salt. pleasant for a gose

Nonshaugen (681) - Fetsund, NORWAY - SEP 27, 2017
33 cl, can conditioned, BB Sep 14th 2017, so it has just reached the expire date. Hazy, golden amber, thin white head, lots of small and powdery sediments, no carbonation. Not much aroma, just hints of salty, funky and sour notes. Mouthfeel is light bodied and thin. Tastes like a mild green apple juice, not at all as sour as expected. More like a mild cider, but again, it's an old can.
