Once a year we receive the latest crop of hops from the US, intensely aromatic and bursting with potential they’re begging to be put to work. With three times the quantity of hops of our explosive IPA ‘Cannonball’ and even more than our flagship Double IPA ‘Human Cannonball’ we’ve created a fitting tribute to the new hop release with this our annual homage to the hop. ‘Un-Human Cannonball ‘takes IPA to another dimension balancing massive citric aroma, deep tropical fruit flavor and gravity defying drinkability to deliver a hop experience that is out of this world. We’ve done our best for the hops don’t let them down by aging this beer, please drink as soon as Un-Humanly possible!

Can from The Bottle Shop Bermondsey and drunk at home. £9 for a 50cl can. Cloudy golden orange colour lasting white head. Big fruity aroma as I poured it. Some dank hop on the aroma. Pink grapefruit. In the mouth yes it has big hop. Hides ABV well. Some heat on the finish I suppose. Some tangerine on the finish. A little hot. A little over carbonated. Dank yes. Hoppy yes. Some bitterness yes. Do I like it? Not at nine quid a pop no. It’s ok if you like this dank hop thing, of which I am not a fan. If I want dankness I’ll go smell my bin store. OK I suppose. Enjoyable to an extent.

Navers (154) - Glasgow, SCOTLAND - MAY 11, 2017
Can from Hippo Beers, Glasgow. Beer served in 7°C, Duvel Glass. Pours hazy ruby amber, small and quickly disappearing head, yeast pieces appears in the glass after half of can was poured. Aroma is exotic and spicy, smell of apricot, mango, chilli peppers, oranges, peaches and alcohol. Bitterness is massive, like a solid tropical, grapefruity, peppery and herbal bitter punch. When it’s still cold the beer is pleasantly fruity and oily, with a bubble gum like note, but when it become warmer alcohol aftertaste start to dominate. But overall the first few sips... it was definitely a surprising and unforgettable experience, and totally worth a try, maybe with less alcohol content it could ruin palate with more style.

UPDATED: MAY 10, 2017 From Zombier. In Teku glass. Watching Los Soprano 6x21. Too much alcohol in mouth here for my liking. I prefer the human cannonball much more. 3 months before bb date. Repeat fresher.

UPDATED: MAY 6, 2017 50cl can @Cimmeria, Oviedo. 04-05-2017.
BBD: 05-08-2017.
In short: robust fruity bitter ale.
Did i enjoy it: more or less, a bit saturating.
Pours murky orange with nice white head. Moderate to short head retention, little lacing. Aroma is of biter orange, citrusy, caramel, ripe tropical fruits. Medium body, average carbonation, oily texture. Taste is quite bitter, fruity, lots of citrusy notes, ripe fruit, peachy, mango. A bit excesive and overbalanced, still a nice beer.

Tinaccio (388) - Milano, ITALY - MAY 2, 2017
500 ml can from St Albans Beer Shop, St Albans, UK. Colour is deep hazy orange, with a small white head that quickly disappears. Aroma is big fruity, tropical, mango, pineapple, orange, alcohol. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter. And alcoholic. Yes, is an 11% ABV and you can feel all the alcoholic. Too much IMHO. The balance between hops could be better. Body is medium to full, carbonation is average to fine. Overall great beer but too high alcohol perception.

venom666 (1025) - Elche, Alicante, SPAIN - MAY 2, 2017
Pours a hazy deep golden color with medium white head with low retention. Aroma is a bomb, very citrus forward, with lemon and orange peel, grapefruit, pine and bubblegum. Taste follows the nose, orange, mandarine, tangerine, lemon zest, grapefruit, pine and caramel are very present, followed by a moderate bitter ending to it. Alcohol is barely present. Impressive!
