Once a year we receive the latest crop of hops from the US, intensely aromatic and bursting with potential they’re begging to be put to work. With three times the quantity of hops of our explosive IPA ‘Cannonball’ and even more than our flagship Double IPA ‘Human Cannonball’ we’ve created a fitting tribute to the new hop release with this our annual homage to the hop. ‘Un-Human Cannonball ‘takes IPA to another dimension balancing massive citric aroma, deep tropical fruit flavor and gravity defying drinkability to deliver a hop experience that is out of this world. We’ve done our best for the hops don’t let them down by aging this beer, please drink as soon as Un-Humanly possible!

UPDATED: APR 24, 2014 Golden body, with small fleeting off-white head. Aroma is wonderfully intense. Fresh dank hops, grapefruit, mango, pine, some sweet caramel malt. Soft carbonation, with silky medium/full body. Quite sweet initial burst, with peach, citrus, pine, alcohol before a moderate-bitterness takes hold. Very dank. Sweet malt balances the beer beautifully. A little short on the finish for my palate but lovely nevertheless. Nice and fresh in taste and flavor. Chewy and luscious, with a slight nudge from the alcohol. Quality big beer. Did not disappoint.

Very hazy amber color. Over ripe mangoes, white gummy bear, big crackers malt backbone. Modestly boozy. Good stuff but could be a bit lower abv. Modest bitterness.

Thnx to ben. Pours unclear darker amber. No real head. Smell is mostly malty. Bit oranges in its fruityness. Taste is full, rather bitter, very piney, intense, some heat by the booze.

Orangegul, disig, vitt skum. Doftar citronsaft och konserverad grapefrukt. I smaken finns mycket juice med viss sötma, lite tallbarr och grape, lite pepprig, mycket fyllig. De Klomp 3/6 -17

Can from Bridgend Services, Freuchie. Pours with a sunburst orange to amber haze. Thin, tight wee head that gives it up fast. Very full aroma with a ton of jammy, marmalade citrus. Fresh, ripe pineapple. Under-ripe mango. Lots of musky pine resin with a slight menthol vibe. Peach juice. Starburst candy. A bit of heat from the alcohol but it’s not overbearing. The peppery heat from that abv. comes through in the tasting though. Fairly short bittersweetness comes through first with more jammy citrus. Lots of dank and juicy tropicality. A massive piney and minty bitterness takes hold. Really astringent. A bit too much for my palate...but this is a triple IPA so....thick and chewy and sticky mouthfeel. Nice weight. Minimal prickle in the carbonation. Loooong bitter finish. Drying finish. Too much volume for my tastes here. Still can’t deny that Magic Rock have all the skill though.

(Draught at Oliver Twist, Stockholm, 3 June 2017) Hazy amber colour with brief, off-white head. Malty, hoppy nose with notes of citrus, grapefruit, mandarin, resin and a touch of alcohol. Malty, fruity taste with citrus, orange peel, marmalade, apricots, caramel and a finish with a generous citric/resiny bitterness and a warming alcohol glow. Full body, with a certain sweetness. Neither shy nor subtle, but fairly well balanced for its strength, and with a generous hop profile backed up by lots of malt. Very nice.

Hazy amber body with a low white head. Peaches, pine, caramel, citrus and a hint of something that reminds me of watermelon lollies,

moldovan9807 (207) - Oradea, ROMANIA - JUN 8, 2017
Pours hazy deep golden, no head head. Huge fresh green hops aroma, lots of grapefruit, tropical fruit, citrus, pine, mango. Sweetish malty with strong lasting bitterness in finish. Full bodied. Alcohol is well hidden.

ciocanelu (2523) - Timisoara, ROMANIA - JUN 2, 2017
Sample at Mikkeller Beer Celebration Copenhagen 2017, red session. Really dank and juicy aroma with ripe melon and mushy peach notes. Taste is sweet at first with dank notes like chives and onion. Some green hop bitterness on the finish.

Fra keg på Hunter & Sons Bath 3 Mai 17. Mørk aprikosfarget. Uklar. Filmskum. Aroma av syrlig frukt. Smaken innholdsrik. Rosin. Plommer. Balansert. Alkoholen kamuflert i form av topp fylde.
