Amber, hazy body, with a big, creamy, lacing, yellowish head
Aroma of pine, earth, grapefruit, passion fruit, some pineapple, biscuit.
Taste follows this, with some more honey.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with a lively carbonation.
Finishes bitter, dry, zesty, earthy, a bit yeasty, a bit biscuity.
Really nice. Straight and bitter, with a well balance between piney hops and a quite broad, smooth malt body. Nothing outstanding overall, but quaffable stuff.
BD Edin. Pours a golden haze. Nose is light fruit and hops. Lovely Vienna biscuityness. And lovely hop character too, pithy, earthy. Very nice drjoeng (1291) - SINGAPORE - DEC 29, 2015
6.6%ABV. Vienna IPA.
Tapped out a deep amber. 18ºSRM.
Nose has clean sweet fruity flavors. Very subtle in its overall character. Enticing and very approachable. There are subtle pine and citrus aromas. Again, maybe like sniffing a ripe cold Valencia orange. A very nice candy-like sweetness to the nose. The malty nose is like what you’d get from a fresh piece of vaporous multigrain toast.
Mouthfeel is sudsy, bordering on soapy. Very approachable palate with nice dark malt flavors in abundance riding on a neat alcholic cloud. There is the flavor of black bread, pumpernickel tanginess, toffee and caramel. There is a brief hint of some medicinal herbs.
Finish is clean and long with the following flavor sequence: pine, grass, citrus, resin, hyssop all the way to the very best and brightest bitter end!

Cask in the Magic Rock Tap in Huddersfield. Amber with a nice dense off white head. Not a huge amount of aroma - mild pine hop. The taste is really fruity with bitter resinous pine hop and a lovely biscuity malt base. There’s orange in there too. Very good.
