We all need a bit of variety and thatís why we came up with the idea for Magnerís Pear. Of course, we like to do things properly and donít mind taking our time about it, so unlike some Pear cider, the only fruit that goes into ours is pears.

And of course, youíll only find 100% premium quality pears in Magners Pear, which we filter to get rid of any impurities before fermenting slowly.

Thatís what makes Magners Pear so fresh, fruity and full of flavor. So next time youíre out and wanting a bit of a change, pour a Magners Pear, sit back and enjoy.

Pale yellow/green colour with no head. Sweet pear aromaand very sweet fruity pear flavor, maybe a bit fake. Medium carbonation. Nothing special

RexTalionis (3725) - FINLAND - JAN 19, 2013
Bottled. Pours clear in color with thin bubbly head. Pear perhaps in aroma. Sweetish taste, like cantaloupe at first and then settling into some honey and pear-like notes later on. Harmless, but sadly too sweet.

tommann (3712) - Dudley, West Midlands, ENGLAND - JAN 18, 2013
568ml bottle. Pours pale lime gold with medium carbonation. Aroma is cheap cider and sweet pear. Taste is sweet pear throughout. Itís ok.

demmbonz (732) - Erin, Wisconsin, USA - JAN 5, 2013
12oz bottle to pint glass. Smells like cheap beer. Not getting any fruit. Barely a yellow tint to it. About 3 bubbles in the glass. Sweet like cheap wine.

ContemplateBeer (2089) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - JAN 4, 2013
My first Perry. Aroma of boxed pinot gris, moderate sweetness. Appearance is well carbonated light gold with no head. Flavor matches the nose with a dryish finish. Palate is light, thin and fizzy. Pleasant enough.

Bottle. Pale yellow/greenish color, no head. Sourish pear aroma, sugary, yeasty and with vinous notes. Pear flavor, sourish, sugary, yeasty, some dough. Better than their apple cider, but still bad.

olliejobbins (1578) - Dorking, Surrey, ENGLAND - DEC 3, 2012
568ml bottle (pint size). Immediate obvious aroma is of cheap white wine. Then some citrus notes. Tastes slightly like wine too. Not too fizzy... no taste of pear at all. But still easy to drink?

blankboy (7662) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 28, 2012
Can [500ml]. Pours a bubbly, very pale gold with a small diminishing fizzy white head. Aroma of pears and sweet apples, very lightly tart. Watery flavour follows the aroma, with pear and sweet apples. Quite simple. Light bodied. Itís watery and not that flavorful but I still prefer a Perry over most Ciders so for that, I find it O.K. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

500 ml can from LCBO. Pours a clear pale golden colour with fizzy white head. Aroma is fairly sweet pear. Flavour is sweetened pear juice with just a little dryness. Body is rather lifeless. Forgettable.
