On tap. Pours with a crystal clear yellow body with a small but persistent white head. Aromas are bready, toasty, grainy, pils malt. Grassy and a bit soapy. Earthy with some noble hop character. Clean yeast wise. A hint of DMS. Flavors are somewhat bitter. Bitter balanced. Grainy, bready, cereal, grassy. Soft water with a slightly lingering finish. Clean fermentation. Minimal hop flavor. Lively bubbles with a light body. DJMonarch (9179) - Northwich, Cheshire, ENGLAND - APR 3, 2011

Celebrator anniversary party 2011. It pours straw yellow with a nice white head. The aroma is freshly cut grains. The flavor is dry and grainy with mild hints of butter and banana. Nice refreshing beer. brokensail (16486) - Dublin, California, USA - DEC 1, 2010
A: The pour is a clear golden straw color with a nice creamy white head.
S: A somewhat light nose that is fairly grainy with some hints of bread. A bit of a yeast, citrus peel, and floral and citrusy hops as well.
T: Fairly bready without being all that sweet. A mild hop bitterness to it with nice floral notes, citrus zest, and a nice clean and crisp flavor.
M: The body is light to medium with a lively carbonation.
D: A nice well done, simple, and refreshing kolsch. Probably the best beer on-tap this day as well. Ungstrup (37954) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - NOV 22, 2010

I had this beer a while back and from what I can remember I enjoyed it. I’ve had this at the pub/brewery so it was fresh.
Nothing special about it is popping into my head at the moment. marcus (10349) - Sacramento, California, USA - OCT 23, 2010
On tap at the brewpub. Pours clear yellow with a rich white head and a PBR aroma. There is a clean kolsch flavor, slightly sweet with a dry finish. JohnnyJ (5570) - San Diego, California, USA - SEP 23, 2010
Sample at brewpub. Clear gold pour, white head. Grain, malt, grassy hops, and some sweetness. Nice drinkable kolsch. JaBier (8027) - Capital City, Ohio, USA - AUG 14, 2010
Sample at the brewpub. Pours a clear gold with a medium white head. Sweet malty aroma with noble hops. Sweet malt flavor that is almost caramelly or syrupy with noble hops and a sweet finish. Sweeter than most Kolsches I’ve had and not as crisp, but the depth of body was interesting. MartinT (9961) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - JUL 9, 2010
My Bottom Line:
Herbal hops, straw-like cereals and citrusy fruitiness coalesce for a fresh and almost rural example of the Kölsch style.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam skirts the hazy blond; this was served in the right glass for the style!
-The flavour profile is beautifully balanced.
-This was better when a tad warmer.
-The finishing hop bitterness was also grassy at times.
-This is either a brew which is not constant in quality or it is ridiculously underrated. .
