Draft at Cerveceria Mateveza. True to style but I think a little weighty on the spicy English hops. Awesome color and caramel and toffee right there to support that prolonged hop bitterness.

On tap @ the brewery during San Francisco 7/7/14 beer tour. Pours a burnt orange appearance with a tan head. Kind of bland aroma with a bit of orange citrus, herbal hops, and caramel. On tap at Magnolia, pours a clear golden orange with a medium off-white head. Aroma brings out unmistakeable English hops, English ale yeast, and crackery malt. Flavour is pretty bland, with notes of English malt, biscuity malt, and fungal notes. Smooth, dry, but pretty bland. A - cola brown with zero head. S - almost non exsitant nose. English brown note, bready malts, brown and water. M - flat and unfocused. light body with a weak dirty water palate. T - taste is muddled and simple. Caramel malts, English malts, light veggie malt soap, light hops. Light floral notes. O bland simple muddled unfinished? 2.4

Amber colored pour with a white head. Nose is grassy with some spicy and floral hops. Sweet bready malt, light toffee/caramel, and a hint of butter. The flavor is kind of bland and generically sweet. Pale amber pour. A bit of soft herbal hoppiness and some lightly toffeeish sweetness. Herbal and hoppy with a bit of light sweetness. A touch of chewiness and some lingering bitterness. Decent stuff.

10 oz sample on tap at the brewpub. The aroma almost has some hints of apple cider present. Light toasty malts are also there. After further inspection, it seems as though the apple quality is more of a floral thing than acetaldehyde. Transparent copper body with a smallish off-white head. Starts a bit metallic and herbal. Light bitterness follows. Becomes super toasted and cereal-like in the middle. Good malty backbone, before a fairly assertive herbal hop bitterness in the finish.
