UPDATED: DEC 9, 2017 Draught at Magnolia. Amber color, white head. Bitter taste with citrus, hops, toffee, toast, nuts and grass. Bitter finish with citrus, hops, nuts, toast, grass and toffee. Good English style IPA. jrob21 (3870) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - SEP 19, 2016
Sample at the source. Now with some more light grain in the malt bill on this one. Getting that sweet light corn flavor again. Finish is mild and grassy. Smooth and easy to drink. j12601 (13297) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - JAN 23, 2016
On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazed ruby amber with a thin white head. Soft malt and a touch of citrus, a hint of dank skunky weed. Medium-bodied, soft malt, a bit of resinous citrus. Earthy citrus into the finish, slow earthy bitterness, a hint of lingering citrus. OldGrowth (3665) - the Containment Area, North Carolina, USA - SEP 19, 2015
Pint at brewpub. Ok aroma, sweet. Grainy, lite citrus and hone. Reddish orange color, ok head and lace. Bitter sweet flavor. Medium body smooth creamy mouthfeel, bitter finish. It’s ok, seems weak overall. Has lingering bitterness. daniele (9875) - ITALY - NOV 22, 2014

On tap @ the brewery during San Francisco 7/7/14 beer tour. Pours a red orange appearance with a tan head. Buttered popcorn, dull fruity hops, and slight toast in the nose. Twangy, lemon/tangerine fruity, buttery flavor. For fucks sake, does every beer here have to be a fucken butter bomb. jflopsu (1862) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - SEP 10, 2013
Has a dark rust orange pour. Aroma is strong in honey and some malt. Taste is interesting with some sweet honey and hops. Has a light bitter ending. lusikka (7833) - Tampere, FINLAND - OCT 16, 2012

Pours a golden colour without a head. Aroma of herbs, grainy malts and weak floral notes. Flavour of grainy malts, metals, nuts, astrigent, herbs and some hops. Light bodied, slick mouthfeel and a rough, grainy, herbal finish. Weird.
Had on tap, cask conditioned at magnolia brew pub. Not much flavor and hops are suttle. PGHbeer77 (571) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 15, 2012
12 oz. Draft on Cask at Magnolia Pub and Brewery, SF, CA. Excellent hoppy, pine and flowers, scent over a cloudy copper pour with a fluffy white head. Excellent mouthfeel, thicker bodied than most IPA’s, with a dry slightly fizzy finish. The flavor started great with citrus, pine, and bitter notes, but then it took an earthy, nutty route that I wasn’t fond of. Just not my personal preference.
