Pours a fairly big frothy off-white head and has a golden amber appearance. Some thick dirty lacing. Aromas of light citrus and earthy hops, a bit piney as well. Flavours are crisp and hoppy, some citrus and mild floral hops with some bready notes. Average carbonation and retention. Medium body. Some light bitterness on the palate. Not bad. 6-pack from the LCBO. Have not bought Magnotta in a while, but their IPA was my first look at the real style and quite liked it over 15 years ago when I started rating beers. Pours a hazy golden-orange colour with a white cap, decent stay and nice lace. Aromas of grassy hops, floral with some light caramel malts. The taste is grassy bitter with a little dryness. Fruity hints in the background. Another good product, but preferred from the bottle.robinvboyer (4754) - Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 24, 2017

Originally rated May 2004. Golden orange in colour, this IPA with a medium head leaves a foamy lacing. Lightly carbonated, I can smell hints of citrus (specially oranges). It has a medium bitter taste to it but with a smooth finish. The strong alcohol content is not unpleasant, but hits the right spot in your head. Better then Keith’s for a Canadian IPA.
6er from the lcbo. Pours a nice amber, with a big white head. Aroma has hints of pine, toasted grains and light caramel. Finish has hints if stone fruit, and grass. The body is bigger than what I’d expect, and the carb is very soft. The beer is kinda muddy, and would benefit from more crispness. It’s not awful, I think people are seeing ipa and expecting a west coast hop bomb, not realizing its an English ipa. Even at that it’s not great, but it’s not awful either. on tap at C’est What during the 2006 spring beerfest. Ok guys, stick to making wine. Thin, not much hops at all, wattery, forgettable.
341 ml bottle from LCBO. Pours a clearish orange colour with moderate-sized off-white head. Aroma is toasted grains, caramel and ripe tree fruit. Flavour is rather sweet with crusty biscuit, toffee and very ripe apple and orange. Oily mouthfeel. Underwhelming.Canmoore (496) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 18, 2016

341 ml bottle from The Beer Store. Pours a clear golden orange with moderate-sized white head. Aroma of slightly musty caramel malt and floral hops. Flavour is caramel, fruit and mellow floral hoppiness. Modest bitterness in finish. Pretty mild IPA but okay.
Pours hazy orange colour with a thin head. Aroma notes include overripe fruit, and biscuit. Tasting notes include overripe fruits, orange zest, biscuit, and very little hop presence. Astringent, and over carbonated finish with boozy aftertaste. Extremely poorly put together beer, someone please show these guys how to make a simple ale!

Bottled. Clear orange body, small white head. The aroma is weak and yeasty, the flavor is watery. googleimage83 (170) - Ontario, CANADA - NOV 26, 2016
Pours lustrous brownish gold, slightly translucent. Aroma is rotten fruit, caramel malt, alcohol. Tastes starts off bready and biscuity, middle is rotten plum and underripe peach with a chalky bitter note - slightly winey acidity. Finishes with lingering boozy note. Huge disappointment. Not bad grassy and citrus aroma. Light body hoppy flavors and good carbonation. I’d drink again. Bendrixian (1514) - Canadiana, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 22, 2015
Clear amber colour. Muted aroma with some english malty, earthyness and some floral hops. Medium to light body, some bitterness with a malty backbone. drinks more like a bitter but it is okay English IPA, just very boring. Ferris (16499) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 24, 2014
Bottle - Light grassy notes. Clear gold with a small white head. Earthy hops and a light bitterness. Very English in style and quite drinkable.
