Butters (4059) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - APR 5, 2017
Sampled right off the bottling line while on holiday on Rapa Nui. A Surprisingly good offering considering what they have to work with. No off flavors or sour notes that ive seen from several other Chilean microbreweries. Nice chocolate malt notes with a slight touch of fruitiness from whatever yeast strain they are using. Certainly a very decent brew for such a remote location!

Nice to try this Easter Island beer in Hanga Roa. Dark, semi sweet some dark roast notes. Pretty basic but not bad.

Ratman197 (14838) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - MAY 16, 2016
Bottle poured a clear reddish brown with a lasting creamy tan head. Aromas of cocoa, fruitiness, tobacco and light brown sugar. Palate was light bodied and smooth. Flavors of cocoa, light fruitiness and a hint of earthiness with a smooth finish.

12 oz. bottle. Thanks Willrunforbeer on the share? I guess?? Well, it is a beer from Easter Island! I’m guessing this is the only brewery on Easter Island? Full lasting head on pitch black liquid.

The flavor is all malt extract. No hop, herb, or spice for balance. Body is thin, finish is dry and sugary. It’s almost like Pepsi cola. Not easy to drink at all.

Chalumeaux (1555) - Middleton, Massachusetts, USA - MAY 14, 2016
UPDATED: MAY 14, 2016 Poured from bottle thanks Willrunforbeer brown black with a thin tan head. Aromas of roasted malts caramel and coffee. Taste is roasted malt coffee. Interesting.

maekchu (3911) - Hirakata, JAPAN - APR 7, 2016
Bottle. Gift from my sister. Some decent roasty aroma, light coffee, and cocoa. Dark brown color with reddish edges. Roast, sweetish in mid palate with some mild dark fruit, cola, and a thin fruity finish. Medium body, lightly warming. Okay.

DuffMan (10434) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - FEB 22, 2016
Bottle, from heavylaevy who received it from a friend-- thanks for saving this to share with me Mike! COUNTRY TICK!!! Medium nut brown colour, medium beige head that retains poorly. Caramel with a hint of roast and raisins, dry papery finish. On the thin side despite the ABV.

bu11zeye (13029) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - JAN 22, 2013
(330cc bottle) Pours a dark brown body with a medium tan head. Aroma of roasted grain, chocolate, and light ash. Flavor of roasted malt, chocolate, light coffee, and toasted grain. Nice porter!

Eructoblaster (4205) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - JUL 10, 2012
Bottle - 330ml. Opaque black body with yeasty chunks and an average beige foamy head. Good malty/hoppy aroma with coffeeish and grainy hints. Taste is slightly misbalanced (probably due to the use of a green bottle). It carries plummy and brown sugar notes. Ends with a robust bittersweet finish.
