Nitro tap at the brewery. Pale, golden and clear with a faint aroma of pale malts and light hops. Creamy feel, but there is little flavor. Meh.

Pour on tap at the brewery, clear orange pour with white head, aroma brought earth, caramel, English malts with bread, yeasty notes, slight spicy hops, touch of grass, slight red fruit notes but fairly hidden. Taste is bready, yeasty, slight spice, hints of grass, vanilla, some red fruit, finishing sweet, slightly bitter. Aubrey (3516) - Bellingham, Washington, USA - MAR 19, 2004
Amber with an orange-ish glow. Nice mouthfeel; fairly easy to drink. Malts were mild, but they had a nice sweetness to them. Clean and lightly roasted. Hop flavors and aromas were nice, but much too subdued. Definitely not pushing any limits, but not bland either. haddon90 (1634) - Newport Beach, California, USA - JUL 21, 2003
Had sort of a skunky taste to it. Not very appeasing to me. Some hops, but very very bad aftertaste. Probably wouldn't have it again if I went back to Steamboat.
