Black coloured beer with small white head and no carbonation visible. Malty roasted sweet aroma. Full slight sparkling palate. Finish is roasted sweet bitter ending dry. Not that bad.

Marduk (8622) - Reval, ESTONIA - OCT 10, 2012
330ml bottle. Mahogany color, small tan head. Mild roast, caramel, malty aroma. Mild roasted malts, caramel, mild bitterness in flavor. Bitter, slick aftertaste.

330ml bottle (Systembolaget, Stockholm)
Dark, and with a dark beige head. Sweet sickly roast aroma, treacle. More burnt in the taste, quite dry, not ashy though. Full palate, a little slick. Finish hasa a metallic tingle and is very dry. This is too harsh even if the first instant it was in your mouth it was briefly good. And what the heck is the commercial description supposed to mean? And where did it come from? That’s not what it says on the label. I may not know much spanish, but I know it didn’t say that. (It mentioned that it was a premium product, a dark munich style, with a chocolately taste, amongst other things.)

Nice brown head, quite black. Roasted caramel, cornflakes, nice but a little simple. Somebody and length. Semisweet with roasted malts, cornflakes, very pleasant in spite of being only 5,5 %

At Barcellona - El Prat airport. A good schwarz beer, with a black body and small tan head. Aroma of dark chocolate and ripe fruits. Taste is bitter like coffee. To be a "macro", it’s quite good.

Surpisingly good dark beer from big brand Mahou. The notes of chocolate and coffee are nice and the palate is abova average. Very nice taste with also some hints of caramel and raisin. Liked this one very much and exceeded my expectations.

Brown to dark brown with some tints of red. Aroma of light malts and some wet cardboard. Taste is similar as the nose but with a touch of roastyness. Light body, medium carb.

33cl bottle from Systembolaget. Dark red/brown with large tan head. Aroma is sweet malt, licorice, roasted malt, berry notes. Taste is malty but a bit too sweet, licorice, hard bread, some sweet candy, roasted malt notes. Thick mouthfeel, frothy.

On tap in Lemmys. Sort of like a dunkel, but a bit too sweet really. Not in any way unpleasant, but not exactly worth a detour to get some. Quite a dark brown, mainly malty taste with some chocolate. Very thin bodyfeel for the style
