Bottle 33 cl. Pours almost pitch black with a medium yellowish white head and an aroma of roasted malts, toffee, cocoa, nuts and brown sugar. The taste is light to medium sweet with a light to medium body, light carbonation and a long lasting both bitter and roaty finish. Far better than I expected.

This one was quite a basic beer on the whole and pretty much what I’ve come to expect from mass-market beers like this, although it was relatively easy to drink. The beer kicked off with some nutty flavours and a touch of caramel to impart some early sweetness to proceedings. There was a strong roasted bitterness to the beer throughout with touches of toffee nearer the middle that helped add to the earlier sweetness, a few burnt flavours managed to sneak in too though. It’s probably not a beer I’d go back to again, even if it was more readily available.
caramel, toast, cereal, black, cloudy, rocky head, brown foam, very bitter, medium body, sticky, soft carbonation, bitter, long finish,

Süß-röstiger Malzantrunk. Geringe Herbe, weich, ziemlich süffig. Ziemlich trockener Hintergrund, dennoch vergleichsweise süffig. Steigende Röstigkeit. 10/8/8/8/7/8 meatmanmd (182) - Chisinau, MOLDOVA - APR 18, 2017
Nice dark chocolate, burned malts, light sweet, but very watery and thin, would be great with more body. midovark (1076) - Balassagyarmat, HUNGARY - APR 17, 2017
Bottled. Pours deep brown with thin head. Strong chocolate notes are present both in aroma and taste with some slighter coffee and roasted notes. Wouldn’t be bad but too thin and watery. imdownthepub (15332) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - APR 2, 2017
Bottled, 330ml at Catalan, Warwick. Dark chestnut with cream head. Sweet caramel notes from the start, fairly thin on the palate with a slight wet cardboard character. There is a slight nutty note which adds interest. It’s okay. susonagger (202) - spain, - MAR 5, 2017
De estilo centroeuropeo, se caracteriza por sus maltas tostadas, que le brindan su característico color oscuro, negro café. De espuma densa y consistente presenta un amargor suave y toques caramelizados a regaliz.
