03-SEP-2010, bottle on Mallorca:)
Glad to have found this among many low level spanish beers.
Nice label, but could it really be black? I mean this is spain...
It pours quite dark brown but clear brown. Nose is roasted, coffee-like.
Taste is more charamelly but also with some roasted malty notes (chocolate is there).
Finally a fine spanish beer. Much like a schwartz bier.
Rebuy! Works here in the sun, but still has a lot more going than a San Miguel. Nisse666 (7995) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - SEP 1, 2010
Bottle bought outside waterworld in Barcelona (the guard cought me and I had to consume it at the enterance)

Bottle: Clear, ruby-amber coloured, smaller loose off-white head with a little lace; moderate sweet-roasty nose, completed by molasses; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied; slightly lingering finish with molasses, toasted malt, caramel and dark malt, not very sweet. Absolutely not the worst Dunkel...... TipsyMcStager (1139) - Calgary, Alberta, CANADA - JUL 13, 2010
aroma is roasty with some choco. Pours a dark ruby-brown with thin head. Flavour is ok but doesn’t make you want to come back for more. Mild choco and slight dry finish. Kind of watery. sebletitje (10293) - Enghien, BELGIUM - JUN 25, 2010
Bottle in Spain.
pours amber, tan head.
aroma, nice roasted malts, some dark fruits; fig, date? quite enjoyable nose.
flavors, malty with hints of coffee and more present caramel, mild undertones of cocoa nibs, possibly pale malts? light bitter finish with some fruits.
Beer started off nicely and ends a little weak.

[ Trade by yngwie ]. Clear medium to dark brown red color with a average, creamy to frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, caramel, oxidide, old dark dried berry - fruit, vegetable, brown sugar notes. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light roasted bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
(Draught at Man in the Moon, Stockholm, 12 Jan 2010) Dark brown colour, almost black, with frothy beige head. Malty, roasted nose with dark bread and hints of raisins and prunes. Malty, slightly roasted taste with notes of dark bread, wort and raisins. Fairly dry with a short, slightly spicy finish. Below medium body, low bitterness. Decent but not really leaving a lasting impression. rosenbergh (11809) - Tampere, FINLAND - DEC 29, 2009
330 ml bottle. From Spain. Thanks Brandman!KyotoLefty (10694) - Kyoto, JAPAN - DEC 6, 2009
Clear dark brown colour with frothy average off-white head.
Aroma: Sugary sweet Dunkel with roasted malt.
Flavour: Roasted malt, some dry hoppiness. Much drier flavour than aroma.
Dark brown with an orange tint and a nice tan head. Rich caramel malt aroma, with chocolate and a touch of fruit. Rich, malty flavor, a bit of roasting and a bit of metal, wood, and cardboard. Caramel, chocolate, raisins. Nicely bitter finish is a pleasant surprise. A bit light on the palate. Not perfect, but a decent dunkel for sure. Izio (86) - GERMANY - NOV 11, 2009
Ruby - brow Color, medium lasting white head. Aroma: roasted coffee, chocolate, slighty hoppy. Flavor: sweet (quite a lot), some hops, the roasted flavor kills everything else. the body is ok... could have some more. Good carbonation. 330 ml Bottle, supermarkt in Barcelona
