thewolf (12535) - Kolding, DENMARK - SEP 1, 2009
Bottle, bought in a supermarket in Barcelona.
Pours clear ruby-red brown with a big, creamy, off-white head. Aroma is sweet, lightly roasted, some raisins and chocolate. Medium carbonation, impressive dry mouthfeel. Flavour has chocolate, hard roasted malts, some berry notes and a long dry aftertaste with mild bitterness. Really a pleasant surprise.

330 ml. bottle. Dark colour, a little head that doesn’t hold for too long. Arome of sweet malts, licorice, chocolate, sweet mal coffee. The body could be much stronger, though it has a kind of inky flavor. Taste of roasted malts, coffee, some dark fruits. Good one.

Fullers74 (72) - DENMARK - JUL 20, 2009
Bottle. Reddish brown coloured. Malty aroma, not strong. A decent beer, but not one I’m longing for trying again

larsniclas (7040) - Billdal, SWEDEN - JUN 26, 2009

UPDATED: OCT 25, 2011 En bryggmästare som kan men inte riktigt orkar. Lite så smakar Mahou Negra, som potential som bara väntar på att omsättas. Kom igen, stånga mig, sparka mig, gör någonting!

Very good dunkel from Madrid. Great mahogany look with solid, thick head. Significant bitterness and well balanced chocolate notes. Excellent.
