Pours dark black. Tan head that doesn’t last long. Aroma is caramel, coffee, Lea & Perrins. Creamy, rather sweet, with a pleasant bitter ending.

Bottle. Dark brown with small tan head. Aroma is light roasted malts, caramel, chocolate and a little bread. Flavour is light roasted malts, chocolate, caramel, little bread, hop, medium sweet and a little bitter.

Mister_Li (1536) - GERMANY - MAY 18, 2015
Dunkelbraun, mit einem leicht rötlichem Touch und mit durchschnittlichem Schaum. Röstmalze gepaart mit einer fast zu bitteren Hopfennote.

McSherman (709) - Aachen, GERMANY - APR 30, 2015
Dunkelbraun, aber noch durchscheinend mit weißem Schaum. Das Bier hat angenehme Aromen von Röstmalz und eine passende Bitternote. Gut!

Tasted 12/4/15. BB 05AG016. Poured a translucent ruby with a few millimeters of light tan foam for a head that diminished quickly to a collar. No lacing. Carbonation extremely low and fine. Aroma subtly of roasted grain, sweetness and a hint of dark fruits. Taste dominated by roasted grain. Light body (more like a Schwartzbier). Smooth, clean, lingering slight roasted grain and very faint bitterness. OK. Easy to drink.

330 ml bottle - Dark Guinness like appearance with similar frothy like creamy white head. Dark blackish brown appearance. Smooth rich almost caramel tastes.

Russo (2011) - Hemhofen, GERMANY - APR 6, 2015
Reddish brown color with a thin off-white head that keeps a thin lace for a while. Aroma is roasted malt with some coffee notes. Flavor follow the aroma but more sweet. Low to medium carbonation in light to medium body with a slightly sweet metallic finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone 4S

Bottle on holiday in Mallorca. Reddy, caramel brown coloured pour with a fading greyish off white head. Aroma is sweet nutty wort, raisin, wood and a little mint. Flavour is composed of raw nutty malts, some charred wood, raisin, little dried apple. Palate is semi sweet, moderate to high carbonation. Lingering nutty malts and a little mint. OK. Maybe a little hot ferment.

From bottle. As I was in a dimly lit restaurant it was difficult to fully appreciate the appearance. A malt-driven beer with mild, inoffensive taste.

Reconqvista (339) - Madrid, SPAIN - MAR 7, 2015
Deep brown color with a slightly creamy head. Some chocolate and roasted caramel notes. Surprising thin body.
