Thin dissipating head. Coppery color. Weak flavor with some sweetness, but slightly watery. I am not impressed. JPDIPSO (6262) - Wauwatosa, USA - DEC 3, 2003
Dull amber color with cream colored smallish head. Rich caramel and light peat aroma - seem to fill the Bamberg style. Rich smooth feel. Dry, very dry malt flavors. Some malt sweetness mid swallow, that evaporates to an herb hops acidic/bitter end (somewhat pepper like). I think I need some german peppernut. Orange copper hue. Small white head. Sweet almost spicy nose. Weird sweet malts first. Almost syrupy, light to medium bodied, honey, yeast, with a pleasantly hopped up finish. A refreshing bock, a nice winter brew. edden (925) - cow- lumbus, Ohio, USA - DEC 1, 2003

clear, orange-tan body with a slight amount of lacing. skunky-pils smell. pilsner-like flavor with some bitter hops, malt, honey and caramel. spicy finish.
On tap. Clear brownish gold color. Malt, honey aroma. Medium body, fuller tasting than other bocks, spicy hop flavor bite, good malt backing. Not bad, had some spice to qualify as a holiday type beer.

Nice golden color. Malty aroma, with something I just couldn't place, but pleasant overall. Decent malty beer, balanced with a good hop bite. A decent drinking beer and well made.
