Bottle, at the brewery. Chestnut brown, poor head and low condition. Low roasty malt and little else in the nose. Sweet fruity malt initially in the mouth but with a gentle dry hoppiness developing with time and lingering into the finish. Some fruitiness, almost raisin-like at the end.
Jukkabro (3484) - Tampere, FINLAND - SEP 18, 2007
(BBE 24.9.2007) Dark brown colored, little yellow head. Hopped aroma, slight chocolate there too, still rather thin aroma. Thin to medium bodied. Flavor is richer with roastiness and chocolate, still dryness dominating. Very weird märzen. Dry chocolate with some hops in aftertaste. TheGrandMaster (2335) - Auckland, NEW ZEALAND - OCT 3, 2006
Bottle at the brewery, brown with a slightly tan head. A strong earthy malt aroma. A great light, but smooth, mouthfeel with fruity malt flavours and a lingering moreish aftertaste.

At the brewery tap Off-white to lighty brown head which is a mixture of a creamy and a rocky head. Excellent lace. The head lasts mostly. Clear, deep brown (deep caramel) body. Aroma of malts (cookie, straw, light caramel), flowers, vanilla. Lightly seet, lightly bitter initial flavour. Moderately bitter finish. The heavy malts are appearing in the flavour in the end. So, the flavour is quite complex with some spices. Lightly bodied. Fizzy carbonation.
