Bottle 50cl, a golden beer with low head. Nose is on barley sugar, ripped fruits. Aroma is on barley sugar, grain, old grain, bit oxidiezd, very boring, wet paper finish.

Cerbier (849) - - OCT 29, 2017
UPDATED: OCT 29, 2017 0,5l Flasche. Goldenes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Typischer malziger Geruch, welcher auch im Geschmack bestätigt wird. Süffig.

Bottle from Das Alpenhaus. Clear golden with lasting frothy head. Aroma is grainy and slightly skunky.. Label indicates freshness (7/4/17) but taste indicates otherwise. Grainy and vegetal, oily. Nit the Helles lager I used to drink in Germany.

Jabic (698) - Plainfield, Vermont, USA - SEP 22, 2017
Ar: Sweet, wet malt; bright moss and lemon hops; backbone of slightly congealed crackers. Ap: Light gold and clear; small wheat head with low retention, leaving a ring and a haze of splotches. T: Rich but light malt, very pure; chalk, licorice, and waxy crackers; lemon; bitterness is medium-high and fairly firm, with a black tea edge; no sweetness; finish is strongly mineral and bitter, with actual hop heat. P: Light body with very high carbonation; finish is bone dry. O: A bold statement for a helles; malt is very light, and just supporting--the real stars are the minerality and the hops; there is both an extremity and a grace to this beer; quaffable and lean, full of freshness.

Pours clear golden colow with persistance white head. Aroma: gentle floral, herbal hop profile, grainy sweet malt profile. Flavor: floral, herbal hop profile, supported & perfectly balanced with grainy, honey-ish sweet malt backbone. Medium body, smooth texture, medium carbonation.

L: -pours a clear golden with a medium, frothy, white head -high carbonation visible S: -fresh grain, apples, spicy, honey, floral, lime T: -spicy,b mineral -medium bitterniss for the style F: -medium carbonation -light to medium body O: A good Beer that reminds me more of an Export Lager than a Helles. Doesn’t quite reach the heights of Ayinger, Augustiner or Schlenkerla’s examples

tmrmwel (2269) - Bergen, NORWAY - AUG 3, 2017

Flavour is malts with biscuits, toffee and honey, as well as zesty hops with earthy notes. Lingering spicy earthy finish. Balanced, and very quaffable.
