4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
I got this bottle in a trade with joe1510. Thanks Joe! Actually, double thanks as this will be my first tasting of the style!
A nice hazy orange gold colour qith a 2 finger head of foam.
The smell is all bread malty and fruity...I’m getting some lemon citrus and now, some caramel malt. Nice nose.
The taste is delish. Lots of bread with some sweet malt thrown in and earthy and light citrus hop goodness. Man, this is tasting very good to me and I’m having a hard time putting the glass down.
The mouthfeel just sneaks over into medium, the carbonation is on the light side, and it finishes with a nice mild blend of bitterness and tartness. Very pleasing aftertaste to boot.
Head retention turns out to be good with a fine broken layer that lasted the entire session and the lacing isn’t too shabby either.
Bottom line: What a wonderful brew I just finished. It sure makes me want to try some more of the style as this one has everything going for it, including drinkability. Thanks again, Joe!!

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours with a pronounced, slightly off-white top. Fizzling, indicating good carbonation. Top diminishes quite quickly. Pours golden, going to bronze after a while. Aroma is very strong upfront malts, some hops in the background. Palate is slightly oily, very full, going to a nice sweet taste, which is quickly replaced in to a gentle, dry finish. This is a very fine lager!

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
From the tap at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours fairly crisp and golden, with fluffy white foam, relatively irregular. Aroma is bready, a little herbaceous, hay. Body is medium-light with moderate carbonation. Taste is sweet at the very first sip, though some bitterness rises as you taste the beer in your mouth. Also some carbonation tickling the tongue. Finish is relatively short.
