A fine example of the style, though I was expecting it to be a bit cloudier due to it being German. I was also under the assumption that it was unfiltered, but I’m having a hard time telling if it is or not. Aroma is subtly floral. Upon tasting it is light, crisp, and refreshing almost like a Cezch style Pilsner. The malty sweetness is there just enough to give complexity to the dry hop finish, creating notes of fruit. I can’t place exactly what fruit, but I want to say apple. Pilsner was not a style that I originally enjoyed, but it has grown on me and I would drink this again any day.

Aroma: light grainy, slightly honey-ish malt charackter & herbal, floral, slightly spicy hop profile.low grainy malt profile and medium to high hop bitterness, with slightly spicy, grainy, floral notes. Crisp-like, moderate dry finish. Medium body, soft texture, medium carbonation.

The beer looks nice. The color of the beer is a nice quite pale yellow. The beer has a nice tiny cloudiness. On top of the beer some rough foam is formed. The bulk of the foam collapses quickly, leaving a nice drape. The looks are simple, but good The smell is also simple but good. There is nothing special going on though. Som bitter hops and nice sweet malts. Nothing special, but nothing bad either. The taste is the same. It is easy to drink; simple but good. A nice bitterness is present, together with some gentle sweets. I like it. It is in good balance. Thee is no wow factor though. The taste is simple to. There is a nice light body and a strong carbonation. Good.

Bottle. Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma of soft caramel, slight fruity, light baked bread, slight minerals, seems quite fresh. Taste is soft white bread, fruity, light grassy. Clean and well brewed.

Pours golden, with a lot of head, which is clear white, quickly diminishing. Aroma is hoppy and some honey in there as well, a little maltiness also. Taste is aggressively carbonated upfront, then quickly swithces to a very light body which evolves through a slightly sour hint in to a nice fresh feeling, not too dry, not bitter at all.

Rather simple beer with no hop overload that I miss as some Czech beers deliver that Saaz kick. But nothing to bitch about really clean taste and balanced with no strange or off aftertastes.

Perfect expression of a Pilsner, extremely well balanced, clean and crushable. Enjoyed in winter, hope to find a case in time for next summer.
