Bottle. Pours dark brown, murky, a little beige head. Aroma: raisins, wine, fruit, some earth, dark chocolate. Taste: alcohol, sweet, winy. Heavy body, soft carbonation, sweet finish. tomer (3746) - Rishon Le Zion, ISRAEL - MAY 12, 2012
Bottle, small stable light beige head, very dark brown and quite opaque, aroma of manure, rum, and some nutty hints in the back, flavour of dark bitter sweet chocolate, cola and raisins and some cherry liquor, a bit of alcohol showing through but still quite smooth, the bitter sweet chocolate pleasantly dominating the aftertase. A good effort that is very nice to sip. DSG (15237) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - NOV 14, 2011
Bottle. Murky brown color with no head. Aroma of malt, some roastiness, chocolate, nuts, caramel notes and a bit of dark fruits. Sweet flavor, somewhat roasty, with caramel, chocolate, fruity notes and a slightly drier finish. Medium-bodied but completely flat and lacks some carbonation. Roastier and fruitier than traditional Doppelbocks. Quite decent. ThreeCats (1002) - ISRAEL - NOV 12, 2011
