4.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 20/20
A great thanks to tectactoe. It pours a vibrant sunny orange color with a thick lasting head. A very distinct aroma comes off this. A big hop presence along with a fruity pine scent. Very unique. The taste is very similar to the smell somehow. It is extremely unique. You could pick this beer out of a crowd of IPAs. Very drinkable. Honestly I want to drink it all day. The taste is just so fresh and clean. Very good and one of the better IPAs I’ve had in a long time.
UPDATED: NOV 2, 2017 Simply brilliant will take this over New England style most days. Yes you could see through this and it had a beautiful lacing pattern. Quite drinkable. Huge tropical and citrus nose. Similar taste. Lush mouthfeel. Pretty perfect. mrp00006 (23) - - JUL 18, 2017

Bottle pour. Incredible aroma. Hops and citrus - bright and solid. Medium bodied, medium to high bitterness. Strong hoppy flavor - but well balanced. Not much else to say - excellent beer. garroch (84) - New York, USA - JUL 11, 2017
Poured from a bottle. Hazy orange color, thin lacey head. Apricot, melon aroma. Taste is apricot, passion fruit, orange, vanilla. Finish is apricot, grass and saltines. Medium body, fine carbonation. Moderately bitter and mildly sweet. Bright, peppery, tropical, kinds smooth, overall delicious.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazed apricot amber with a medium sized white head. Citrus on the nose, soft melon and a bit of fruit. Gentle tropical notes, fleshy mango. Medium bodied, soft mango with a lovely touch of fruit into icy cool hop bitterness. Alcohol is present but not overbearing or intrusive. Delicate bitterness on the finish with some fruity sweetness as well. Lovely.

Delicious, fragrant, a solid Imperial IPA. Visits with Bill enabled the tasting.

Solid beer as always from Maine, but again they don’t pop for me. Maybe the yeast, maybe the water? I don’t know. It’s a highly competent DIPA, nothing more. MetalNHopHead (2257) - Lincoln, Nebraska, USA - APR 11, 2017
Huge thanks to johnnnniee for this hard-to-get beer. In the landscape of Imperial IPA’s, there are many that can be called intriguing, but only a select few can truly be described as beautiful. Maine Beer Dinner is one of those few. Yellow-orange pour with lots of haze, head, and lacing. Tropical and piney nose - bright with zest and resin. Grapefruit, pineapple, orange, melon, and tangerine flavors. Some pine, too. Lots of juicy fruit flavors yet very little bitterness. Bone dry finish. This is like an East coast Pliny the Elder. It’s perfect. HuskerTan (2449) - Ravenna, Nebraska, USA - APR 1, 2017
A- Orange marmalade, dreamsicle bar.
A- Golden orange color, cloudy liquid, white head.
T- Orange juice, mild bitterness, dreamsicle ice cream.
P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish.
O- This very well may top Pliny and Hopslam. Certainly doesn’t feel like a DIPA. Drinks too easily and loaded with orange flavors. Good stuff. Had a month after bottling. Was great at Dinner with some sausage, kale, and white bean soup. Johnsense (1800) - - MAR 17, 2017
Gold pour 2 fingers of head, loads of lace. Can i just say citrus for aroma and taste and be done with it. No. ok, citrus forward, tangerine sweetness, grassy, sweet malt. Medium body.
