Bottle. Orange-yellow with spongy beige head, floral hops aroma, low carbonation, hoppy taste with lavender-like flavor, strong body, medium finish with well balanced hops aftertaste. Very well balanced hoppy taste. Berard (639) - Salem, New Hampshire, USA - MAY 20, 2014
Bottle. Citrus and caramel aroma with a thin creme colored head that dissipates. Pours murky deep orange brown with little carbonation. Solid hop punch but with little complexity and a bit boozy.

This one poured darker amber color with a white head. Aroma was of fruity hops, caramel, and mild yeasty character. Flavor was similar, a bit sweet, very clean like all of their stuff. Definitely on the verge of a hoppy barleywine. maekchu (4098) - Hirakata, JAPAN - MAY 6, 2014
Bottle. Clear, sharp hoppy nose, with harsh fruit and a little chlorine. Dark golden straw color. Sweet caramel, spicy hops, and finish edges on date puree. Medium body with good mouthfeel. Intense, but it does balance out eventually. KyotoLefty (10808) - Kyoto, JAPAN - MAY 6, 2014
Bottle from BOTW. Nose of pine, caramel, grass, oranges. Great fruit flavors, tangy hops, caramel. Sweet but crisp. Complex fruits and big hop flavors. Very nice indeed. Perfectly balanced and integrated.

This is an excellent pale ale. Lacy with good body and easy on the palate. Well worth the wait in finding this gem. $8 a bottle is a little steep given that Sculpin and Dogfishhead 90 are more economical and equally as good. But something to put on your beer bucket list for sure. GranvilleTim (1857) - Granville, Illinois, USA - APR 21, 2014
Thanks Dana. Caramel pour w/ a beige head. Aroma is hops and malt. Taste is spicy hops balanced by a tasty malt backbone. Hoppy aftertaste. A very enjoyable beer from initial smell to the lingering aftertaste. Nice lacing. John25 (1291) - Middletown, New Jersey, USA - APR 17, 2014

Bottle to glass. About 4 months old. Pours a clear amber color with reddish hues and a light tan head. Aroma is malty, strong alcohol burn, and a hint of piney hops. Flavor is heavy, malty, sweet, alcohol. Medium in body with a lingering sweet alcohol burn. Tasty, but wish I would have had it fresh.
