Pours a rich golden color with thick tan head. Smell is intense citrus & hop aroma with taste being the same. Extremely drinkable IPA! Rupert_Rising (5) - West Rupert, Vermont, USA - JUN 14, 2013 does not count
this is a perfect beer for the ipa connoisseur. gentle floral nose with a citrus undertone. pours a deep golden, slightly cloudy color with a creamy off white head. citrus dominates the front of the palate with earthy pine bringing up the finish. i get giddy when i can have this beer. absolutely one of my all time favorites. Almost beyond words. A good punch in the nose greets the drinker at first, pours just slightly hazy, a bountiful dense head quickly forming as the brew swirls into the glass. Piney citrusy hops and a strong alcohol content dominate, but don’t overwhelm. As the beer approaches becoming a fond memory it retains a mound of head to the bottom of the glass and leaves a nice lacing down the sides. Practically perfect in every way. stevendoel (35) - Massachusetts, USA - JUN 15, 2014
An intense hop aroma and nice light pale color. It's bottle conditioned so it pours with a nice frothy smooth head. The taste starts out quite dry and finishes with a perfect blend of hops and malt.

Huge tropical hops in this big boy. I could smell is right when we cracked this. The flavor has a nice malt backbone with all the ctrus pine and tropical hop flavors punching through. This is a fantastic brew.

cereal, toast, citrus, leaves, orange, hazy, frothy, white foam, medium sweetness, lightly sour, light body, thin feel, average carbonation, long finish. This is the best IPA I ever had, its a true IPA with a splash of sunshine, or I could just have elated senses because the Patriots won Super Bowl XLIX. Woot! Woot! phikus01 (112) - New York, USA - FEB 15, 2015
Of all the hyped ipas I’ve had this one I found deserving. Balanced to perfection, not boredom (bells two hearted). This uses classic hops for a pine citrus bouquet in aroma and flavor. This would be the perfect IPA to drink everyday. Its too bad that finding it is like winning a kind of lottery and its priced like something that transcends what it is. This one’s an easy five. You’re not going to get much better than this. It does everything right. Very tropical. Lot’s of pineapple and mango. Big citrus as well. This is the kind of ipa that makes you take a step back and say "holy shit that’s a good one" I love when I get my hands on an ipa that brings me full circle and shows me why I love the style so much. I think there are a lot of good ipa’s, and a handful of great ones. Most seem to get lost in the shuffle, but this one definitely stands out and I’ve heard so many good things that when I saw it immediately grabbed a bottle so I could try it. Glad I did it really is an excellent beer for true ipa lovers. Aplac1 (1) - - AUG 18, 2015 does not count

Foamy, light orange color, nice balance hops, excellent finish, truly one of the best IPA’s you will ever try, a beer that is extremely hard to get, not if you live in Maine.
