COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our East Coast version of a West Coast-style IPA. Intense hop flavors and aromas of tropical and citrus fruits and pine dominate. A subtle malt sweetness brings the beer into balance.

Bottle shared with atom. Pours a disgusting looking dark, hazy, peach color with a creamy white head. Looks gross. Not a lot in the aroma immediately, but a good swirl really opens the aroma up. Pineapple, mango, pine, and flowers comprise the aroma. Quite interesting combo. Flavors of flowers, pineapple, sticky pine, tropical fruit, and caramel. Very full bodied for an IPA. Almost creamy at times. No real bitterness in the finish on this. Looks like shit, tastes kinda better. Although, this doesnt seem as good, or the same, as the last time I had it.

UPDATED: JAN 29, 2017 Draft at Bru Craft. Hazy yellow gold pour with a good show of off-white foam. Lots of lace. Strong hop notes with soft edges. Spruce tips. Lemon zest. Bamboo. Apricot. Varnish. Easy drinking but packs a flavorful hop punch. Dry. Well balanced.

Tap at Cap Tap. Pours translucent gold with a white head. Aroma is mild fruit with a touch of evergreen. Med body. Flavor is citrus/pine and pale fruits with moderate caramel support. Bitter enough, hoppy enough to think dank is near. Really well balanced and very tasty.

On tap. Poured a lemon yellow wheat with a slight haze. Very lacy white head. Palate is dry lemon pine balanced against a saltine crackers grain. Crisp mouth. Clean dry finish. Yum.

Tap. Reservoir, Waterbury, VT. Just about clear, bright gold. Film of lasting, clingy, white head. Nose has squeaky clean pine, and minty, hop. Marmalade on toast backdrop. Notes of pine needle and sappy wood. Taste is sappy sweet, getting resinous and slick bitter. Light to medium body. Well carbonated, cutting through the sappy chew. Long, light, resinous bitter finish. Great stuff.

Funny that the first thing I noticed was how west coast this tasted for an east coast IPA... Draft pour. Slightly hazy yellow orange in color... Aroma is bursting with tropical fruits, mango. Flavor is dry, lots of tropical hops... Delicious ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

strong citrusy aroma of those similar to cascade, centennial, and citra. golden and hazy with nice long lasting head. Taste is hop forward but has malty notes. Not overly bitter and finishes smoothly.

Bottle pour into nonic pint glass from Smileys Discount Beverage. Appearance is lightly hazy, light gold with beautiful sparkle, 2+ finger-width white creamy head with good retention and nice soapy lacing. Aroma is citrus, tropical fruit, mild dank earthy resin, herbs. Taste is tropical fruit with citrus and light resin with second half toasted bready malt. Palate is medium-to-full bodied with thick texture, average carbonation and mix of fruity/bready finish. Overall, a superb beer that tastes and feels more like a DIPA than just an IPA. I usually find their IPAs too bitter but this one is more restrained and focused on flavor. Well done.

Bottle shared by Kyle, thanks! Pours cloudy peachy orange with a white head that dissipates to the edges slowly. Aroma has a lot of citrus with a bit of earthiness and a light grain backbone. Flavor has lots of bitter citrus with a slight earthiness and a bit of sweet grain backing.

Bottle at tasting. Aroma of hop, citrus, malt and pine. Taste has fresh fruit, citrus, grassy fresh hops and mild pine. Nice stuff, bit overrated though.
