2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
16.9oz bottle shared with friends, poured into plastic cups. Golden orange in color with a two-plus finger off-white head that settles to a cap. Not much lacing, but probably due to the "glassware". Aroma is very nice: citrus, floral, and grassy hops jump out followed by a slight malt sweetness, mango, and tropical fruit. Taste is a muted version of the aroma. Good hop bitterness, light sweetness - just faded. Not an old bottle by any stretch - less than 30 days post-bottling, well inside the recommended 90 day window. Light-medium body, crisp but thin, thin, thin texture, moderate carbonation, dry, bitter finish.
It pours golden and clear with a white head that has moderately good head retention. It has an initial sweet fruit aroma of passion fruit. There are low levels of pine and citrus. There is a low level of bread in the background. The flavors are pleasant, but tend towards being a bit more subtle in presentation. There is a bit of an orange flavor with passion fruit and low levels of pine. The pine makes a greater impact as the flavor lingers. There is a bready grainy element in the background. It has a moderate body with a smooth and very pleasant finish that is semi dry. Overall, this is a wonderful beer without the harshness that many in the same class has. Everything works very well together. commonmac (1370) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - NOV 22, 2017
Bottle picked up by blonderedhead in NYC and brought back across state lines for consumption on Turkey Day Eve. Consumed in a Maine Beer Co. labeled glass to enhance the experience. Color is a deep golden orange and has a decent level of haziness to it. Plenty of white frothy head and lacing. Nose emphasizes pine and citrus almost like a household cleaner at moments. Taste leans heavily on citrus notes with grapefruit coming to mind. Plenty of bitterness and a lingering resiny quality. Tropical fruits seem to be working their way into the equation with each sip. Very crisp. Lighter body you would kind of expect from an APA. As always, Maine Beer Co. delivers an incredibly professional spot-on interpretation of the style. Very solid. wombat23 (2148) - Texas, USA - OCT 31, 2017

Aroma: sweet, malty, a little hoppy; good; Appearance: hazy golden orange pour with creamy white head that lingers; Taste: follows nose; lovely balance with some pine coming in at finish; Palate: medium body with medium finish; Overall: so delicious. Excellent APA without veering too far into the IPA realm. harpo40 (35) - Eastham, Massachusetts, USA - OCT 20, 2017
Hazy gold color and citrusy nose is followed by citrus flavors that may include orange and meyer lemon along with some malt. A very well-balanced, enjoyable and easy-drinking beer.

Slightly cloudy orange pour with a single finger head. Aroma has some hints of dankness and some grapefruit. The aroma is a bit light for my liking though. Finishes with lots of citrus and grain. Lace present, medium body. drsandman (1672) - New York, USA - SEP 4, 2017

WTF? I just don’t get the love affair with Maine beer company. This is a solid good beer and I have never had a bad beer from them but 100??? I am so tempted to give it a 0.5 out of spite. But, I will rate it appropriately.
