COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An American-style ale brewed one barrel at a time. The malt bill is built on American two-row malt and accented by crystal 10, Vienna, and white wheat malts. Magnum hops give the beer a nice clean bittering and Amarillo, Cascade, and Centennial hop varieties provide a pleasant floral and citrusy hop flavor. A healthy dose of additional Amarillo and Centennial are dry hopped to give this beer an inviting hop aroma. The beer is fermented with a neutral yeast strain and allowed to dry out so it finishes crisp and clean.

Note: Formerly known as Spring Peeper.

4oz taster at Rustico - Alexandria. Poured a hazy yellow color with a small white head. Aroma was some citrus hops, a touch of resin. Flavor had some nice hop notes - a touch of dry honey notes. Pretty refreshing.

This is a beer that just smells like spring. Aroma is floral hops, grass, hay, and bright citrus. Tastes light and earthy, bitter floral hops followed by lemon, grapefruit, and a definite hay character. Slight pepper and maybe a touch of coriander spice. Very clean and crisp finish.

UPDATED: DEC 27, 2012 Sampled from a 16.9 oz brown bottle this beer poured a pale yellow color with an enormous creamy yellow-white head that towered over the glass, lingered and left incredible lacing. The aroma was bitter, and tangy lemon, grapefruit and Pez candies. The flavor was bitter and dryish with notes of lemon, grapefruit, Pez and a light perfumey undertone. Medium length bitter and dry lemon and perfume finish. Medium body. Solid.

Pours a very pale yellow, clear until yeast sediment makes it way in from the bottom of the bottle. Large, very long lasting pure white head. Wheat content appears to be apparent. Aroma is citrus hops. Flavor is very lightly earth and floral citrus hops followed by a grapefruit. and light pineapple finish. Just enough malt backbone to hold it together, yet clearly light enough in nature to be an APA vs an IPA. Not bad. Didnt love it, but not bad.
