COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A lustrous honey wine with a citrus-like floral aroma. The smooth buttery flavor of honey yields to a subtle, smoky earthiness and a dry refreshing finish. Decanting or allowing it to breath is recommended to release the delicate honey flavors. Serve chilled. Pairing suggestions: Smoked seafood, scallops, lobster, spicy dishes or cheese.

Dogbrick (14287) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - OCT 24, 2017
Sample at the tasting room. Crystal clear pale yellow color with a minimal head and spots of legs on the glass. Aroma of fruit, apple and honey. Full-bodied with flavors of floral honey, citrus and mildly tart apple. The finish is dry and floral with a fruity aftertaste. Decent overall.

brokensail (16689) - Dublin, California, USA - OCT 4, 2016
Bottle @ Maine Mead Works. Clear straw pour. Has a lot of graham cracker, floral honey, and lemon peel. There’s definitely a touch of booze to it as well. Get sort of a waxy fruit skin thing to it that I find in a decent number of meads, it seems, which I don’t really care for. This one was one of my least favorites, but it was still fine.

Sampler at meadery. Pours golden. Fairly dry and toasty on the tongue. Not a lot on the nose. A little watery for my taste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pour at Maine Mead Works in Portland Maine on our brewery tour. Clear white pour. Smells like apple cider. Taste is like a white wine and mild fruits, maybe some saki character.
