COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brilliant gold in color, this honey wine delivers the essence of nectar. A medium body and elegant flavor, is rich and smooth that carries through to a round creamy finish. Serve at room temperature or slightly chilled as an aperitif or with dessert. Pairing suggests: strong cheeses, dried fruits or nuts.

Sample at the tasting room. Clear yellow color with a minimal head and patches of legs on the glass. Aroma of honey and fruit. Full-bodied with flavors of floral honey and mildly spiced citrus. The finish is floral and fruity with a short citrusy aftertaste. Decent overall.

Bottle @ Maine Mead Works. Clear yellow colored mead. Has a better honey character than the dry mead, which I suppose is not surprising. Get some graham cracker and vanilla sweetness to it. Maybe a hint of that subtle cinnamon graham cracker note as well. Light grass and floral flavors. Perhaps a hint of citrus. Pretty decent mead.

Sampler at meadery. Pouts golden. Definitely getting the honey note on the nose as well as this banana thing. Still fairly dry on the tongue though it feels more substantial. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

My dad tried this beer and exclaimed, "Has anyone else noticed this tastes like wine white and cherrios milk." He is the cheerio king. Medium-bodied; dry and sweet. Honey, plastic, paint, sugar and alcohol.

Tried this at the meadery. Pours a clear gold. Warm citrus. Bright citrus and honey. Sweet citrus with light honey notes into the finish. Tasty.

Aroma has honey and a little apple. Flavor is mild and smooth. A little drying alcohol in the finish, and a surprisingly creamy mouthfeel. Not bad, but not great either.
