Bottle @ Maine Mead Works. Probably my favorite of the meads offered on our visit. Pours a nice pinkish-orange color. Has a good berry character to it. Plenty of strawberry, fruit skins, and tannins. Hints of vanilla, lemon zest, and honey. Pretty decent balance of sweetness and acidity here. Not bad. DiarmaidBHK (6170) - Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 1, 2016
Sampler at meadery. Pours light red. Fairly solid strawberry on the nose which gets more pronounced as it warms. Fairly dry on the tongue but still retains that strawberry flavor. Nice.

Pale reddish with no head. Aroma is lots of fresh ripe juicy strawberries, some floral honey notes, apple and vanilla.
Taste is light to medium sweet with honey and strawberries, slightly dry finish with some apple and tart berries. Medium bodied with a dry finish.
Very nice strawberry aroma, would benefit on a bit more residual sweetness.
Draft at crunchy’s. Light pink with no head. Looked like a zinfandel. Overpowering strawberry aroma. Cloyingly sweet strawberry flavor and a bit boozy. jredmond (8960) - New York, New York, USA - AUG 2, 2013
Sampled at THE FESTIVAL 2013 in Maine with Andrew, Jay and Kramer. Pours a light body with no head. Aroma is fresh strawberries and honey. Mouthfeel is medium with notes of strawberries, honey, candy and light vanilla. Very nice strawberry mead.

Nice mead with a really good strawberry jam character. I was impressed with these guys at the Festival and some of their bottled ideas sound really interesting, like the coffee maple mead. j12601 (13472) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - JUN 28, 2013
Pouring at The Festival in Portland with Kramer, Andrew, and J-Dadmond. Pours a clear orange golden amber. Soft berries under honey. Sweet with light carbonation (I believe they kegged and lightly carbed this for the festival, but it’s usually uncarbonated). Soft honey, sweetness, chewy honey, sweet strawberry. Nice. phaleslu (10957) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - AUG 23, 2011
Taste from a 750 ml bottle at the meadery. Served chilled, as with the rest of their meads. Pours a clear rose color with no carbonation or head. Lovely strawberry aroma, fresh and fruity, on top of light honey, oak, and floral notes. Flavor of strawberries, honey, oak, and apples. Medium-bodied, with a tart, sweet mouthfeel and minimal carbonation. Really nice fruit mead. One of my favorites at MMW.
