Theydon_Bois (19494) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - SEP 2, 2012
On tap at the brauhaus in Maisach - 17/07/12. Mid brown with a dollop of beige head. Malt forward nose, sweetish toffee/caramel backdrop. Taste marries aroma with a little nutiness and a bitter flavour. Medium bodied and typical carbonation for the style.

kiwianer (3428) - Otorohanga, NEW ZEALAND - JUN 10, 2012
The head is ok, the body brown. The taste is barley, darkmalty, a bit bitter and roasty. Ok 12/9/9/9/10/9

ganache (5897) - New Jersey, USA - FEB 18, 2012
Bottle by 26.03.12. Nose of dark sweet malt with a little minerally yeast. Blood red body with a creamy tan head [I’m looking at a full half liter against a white wall, and then with a light behind it, and anyone who calls this something other than ’red’ is either having problems with color recognition in a dark pub or should stop drinking so quickly]. Taste sweet with tarry caramel and light bitterness, sticky fullish body with a little bit of airy yeast. Herbal with a touch of pepper and tang, the roast and toffee act as a base but with no flourish. Rather enjoyed this one, but there is a slight cloying medicinal note and on the hole it doesn’t really stand out from the crowd.

Cuso (8687) - Bratislava, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - OCT 28, 2011
Bottle from Bier Imperium, Vienna. dark brown color with medium white head. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel. Taste, coffee, caramel, toasted bread. Rather sweet than bitter finish. Drinkable.

Test vom 21.7.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 9,12,11,12,11,12 - 11,50

DasMollengrab (34) - Berlin, GERMANY - FEB 14, 2011
Slightly oily body, average carbonation, average head. Aromas of caramel, hints of cinnamon, cocoa and black coffee. Slightly peppery finish. Rather on the sweet side. All in all straightforward Dunkel, though not at all lacking in depth and details. Really good.

saxo (18301) - Højbjerg, Aarhus, DENMARK - DEC 22, 2010
Bottle traded from fonefan. Nice head with good duration. Color is brown. Aroma and taste are caramel, nuts, malt and hops.

Quack-Duck (9484) - Down South, GERMANY - DEC 14, 2010
bottle, Dank an Frankenland! Hazy brown colour, large and creamy beige head. Malty nose, caramel. Medium-bodied, caramel, chcolate, dust, slightly hoppy.
