COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
My interpretation of a typical Bavarian wheat, refined with a little bit more hops and the intense aroma of our very own wheat beer yeast. Bold and surprising.
Typical but yet so different. Deep cassis notes mix with Oriental spices and create a fruity, spicy finish.

I invite you to enjoy a refreshing treat for all your senses.

Yours,
Jeff Maisel

Nice big bottle and perfect website with a lot of information, Clear amber beer with cream-colored head, smell is hoppy but also banana, taste is Weizen with a lot of hops, mild, not bitter, fresh, I feel not the alcohol here, perfect and good balance, (I have 0.75l bottle with best-before 07.12.18 21:44)

750 ml bottle into tulip glass, best before 10/12/2018. Pours very hazy medium orange/amber/light copper color with a 2 finger dense and rocky light khaki head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Dense soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big lemon, orange, banana, clove, peppercorn, plum, pear, apple, light bubblegum, wheat, biscuit, light honey, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast and moderate bready malt sweetness; with great strength. Taste of big lemon, orange, banana, clove, peppercorn, plum, pear, apple, light bubblegum, wheat, biscuit, light honey, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Moderate yeast spiciness and light herbal/grassy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, orange, banana, clove, peppercorn, plum, pear, apple, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast and moderate bready malt sweetness; with a great malt/spiciness balance, and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Light dryness from carbonation and yeast spiciness, increasing through the glass. Medium-high carbonation and medium body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/grainy, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 7.1%. Overall this is an outstanding Helles Weizenbock style! All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast and moderate bready malt sweetness; very smooth and pretty refreshing to drink for the ABV. Fantastic yeast complexity and balanced malts. Spot on for the style. A highly enjoyable offering.

UPDATED: NOV 20, 2016 Bottle from Metro Graz. Pours a deep, hazy amber with a big, beige head. Aroma of blackcurrant, mandarin orange, yeasty, wheat grains, marzipan, spices. Nice! Taste is lightly sweet, lightly sour, turns lightly bitter. Creamy medium body, lively but soft carbonation. Highly enjoyable. Fruity, slightly yeasty, with a nice subtle bitterness. Strong, but with a light feel. Sweet, but not overpoweringly so. Well balanced, round. A great Weizen, amplified into a soft, pleasant bock.
