33cl bottle, Sdstar FR. Maisels Ditpils reduced in calories, not ABVs? Always up for an experiment... Sulfury nose. Watery, protein-shake like texture with a rough cardboard edge and extra hop extract with no where to go. 75% less fermentable carbohydrates do mean 75% less taste... in many ways this is worse than a non- or low-alcohol beer, because it will take a papershake bite of 4.8% out of your daily ABVs without giving you any taste except mineral hop tea back.

Jukkabro (3484) - Tampere, FINLAND - FEB 28, 2007
Dark yellow colored, little white head. Hops, lemon and some fruits in aroma. Thin to medium bodied. Flavor is also boring with mild hops and crispy carbonation, some fruits maybe there also. Dry aftertaste.

The head is robust, the body golden. It smells bitter a bit hay. The taste is hay, hoppy. Specialy in the aftertaste bitter. Medium 11/8/8/9/10/9

ElDesmadre (3336) - Mikołw, POLAND - MAR 7, 2014
UPDATED: MAR 13, 2014 Bottle. Aroma dominated by green apples, with sweet sugar candy, grassy hops and corn added. It tastes like water with a light beery aftertaste, somewhere between sugar candy and cardboard. Oh my, such a drainpour from this brewery, by all means?

bluevegie (3073) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - FEB 17, 2007
Clear golden body with a big beaded white head. Aroma doesnt grab me much at all, sulphur pong hung around for a while with some soapy malty notes afterwards. Thin body, not big flavours, good carbonation, a little watery and mainly grainy notes. Germans make good beers - generally.

Honestly the first Dit-Pilsner Ive tried. Havent missed much, the fact it is intended for persons with diabetes is a good thing but leaves everyone else scratching their head at the lack of pizazz flavour-wise.
From the bottle into a flute glass. A soapy white lather managed to form after a vigorous pour - a wafer thin, drabby mess - atop its tight, finely carbonated, bright, medium gold body. Wisps of fluffy grains on the nose like puffed wheat and barley. Sadly, edges of boiled cabbage water and wet cat ail it and cant be ignored, tainting it for the length as it was stretched for taste. Thin, crisp and dry is the palate. Light showing of grains mid to late seems pasty in feel. Slight herbal tang late also, not much bitterness to save it. Clean, crisp swallow, subtle dustiness in the afterglow. Thats pretty much it. Clean tasting over attenuated lager, quite off on the nose. Bland overall!!! (33cL, 10/10/07, The Beer Store Morley)

Golden with a white head. Aroma is light, a bit of hops, grain. Medium body with a nice carbonated bite. Flavor is lightly grassy and malty. Not much going on but a solid lager. (Bottle at JJs Irish Bar, Bahrain)

Embrouille (2843) - SWITZERLAND - MAY 23, 2008
Bottled 33cl. It pours a pale yellow beer with a small white head. The nose reminds me of a non alcoholic beer. Hops, breakfast cereals and honey showing up. The taste is hoppy and sour. Low bitterness. Poor lace. Breakfast cereals and honey in the flavor too. Mediocre grassy finish. Probably highly drinkable.

heavy (2806) - Split, CROATIA - MAR 11, 2010
02/03 0.33 l bottle courtesy of Doggythedog, thanks for sharing! It poured golden body with smaller head that went down soon. Stinks to egg and grain malt. Weak flavor, bittersweet stale malty with some strange sourish crude hop or maybe grainy flavor. Thinner in body with shorter sweetish finish. Boring, watery and quite bad beer.

Ganz passable Optik. Getreidig-hopfige Geruchsaromen. Auf der Zunge anfangs slich und kribbelnd. Mittelteil und Abgang deutlich herber. Gut gemachtes Dit-Pilsener, von dem ich positiv berrascht wurde. Weich und sffig.Test vom 5.3.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche
