This is the first nonalcoholic beer that actually is no worse than its alcoholic cousins. Fruity and rich taste, which doesn’t suffer from the lightness that 0 % causes. OK, so maybe not comparable to the great heavy beers, but in its own little niche the supreme champion so far. Too bad I never had the chance to buy Maisels original beer.

500 ml bottle. Pours cloudy amber with an enormous white head. Fruity wheat aroma and taste with banana notes. Mild palate. Good for an alcohol-free beer.

Very good an intense alhol free beer. Perfect color, taste touches palate gently and stays there for quite a while. Not too sweet, noticeable smoke flavors - good balance. Bon!

ClubGonzo (5670) - Bergen, NORWAY - JUN 5, 2010
My first low-alcohol rating! :-) Pours a nougat-brown, hazy body with a dense, thick white head. Smell is intensely wort-like maltiness, with a bit of roasted tones. Taste is equally wort-ish, with hints of bread, wheat and cereals. Kinda like the traditional Norwegian "vørterøl" (wort beer), with a German hefe profile. A bit sweet, without going over the top. Maisel’s Weisse is ten times better than the other pilsner-based low alcohol beers around in Norway; really drinkable, refreshing and nice. A positive surprise indeed.

Leighton (21494) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 14, 2015
Bottle split at Bamberger Weissbierhaus during the Bamberg Jolly. Pours cloudy orange-gold with a creamy, white head. The nose holds rich wheat. Moderately sweet, with plenty of wheat bread, yeast, ripe banana. Light to medium bodied with average, airy carbonation. Sweet finish with notes of grainy wheat, banana chips. Not bad for a non-alcohol beer.

Bottle @ Liebesbier, Bayreuth. Pours cloudy amber with stable off-white head. Clear aroma of grain and yeast, with some sourish hints.nSweetish flavour of malt and banana, with estery notes and hints of hops. Estery aftertaste. Decent for the style.

Huge white head, cloudy orange colour. The aroma is indistinguishable from an alcoholic beer. Fruity, watery taste and a mildly sweet palate. Good for a non-alcoholic beer.
