Hazy orange color with slightly off-white head. Aroma is classic hefeweizen but somehow more bright. Taste is definitely more diluted, watery but you still get the banana and clove notes. Body doesn’t really feel light, more like medium, just the taste is not very intense. Carbonation is on the high side. Not really my type, too watery and carbonated for my taste.

Bottle split at Bamberger Weissbierhaus during the Bamberg Jolly. Pours cloudy gold with a foamy, white head. Light wheat character, dry wheat, banana chips. Light bodied with average carbonation and creamy texture. Lightly drying to finish, with further dry and lightly sweet, crispy wheat. Good stuff, if a bit basic.

rotaman14 (678) - Wiesbaden, GERMANY - NOV 14, 2014
UPDATED: NOV 18, 2014 Banane, clove, ripe apples on the nose. Cloudy orange colour, white head. Slightly sour taste, a little bitterness is present too. But above all, a disgusting taste of chemicals makes its way to my taste buds. Watery palate.

BOTTLE 50 CL. Look: cloudy amber, big off-white head. Aroma: tart wheat character, very little fruit, some cloves. Taste: quite dry even for a weizen, minimal sweetness, wheat character, medium body - does not feel thin.

djoeye (5085) - Tromsø, NORWAY - AUG 4, 2014
High off-white crown. Foggy orange golden body. Persistent foam, makes fine tight lacings. Aroma; wheat malts, mild hops, clove, coriander, flowerbed. Taste, wheat malts, grassy hops, ripe banana, wet apple, watermelon, dilutedness, milk-bitters. Slightly watery but smooth n easy on palate. Mild short wheat bread finish. Not superb, just plains easy fresh weizen, when you want it lighter. [50 cl. br. btl. 3.2%abv.°. BB01.08.14]

Beerhunter111 (22268) - P´Castle, GERMANY - MAR 28, 2014
Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes orange-goldenes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch hefig, leicht fruchtig. Geschmack hefig, leicht bananig fruchtig, minimal säuerlich.

Day 1 Bamberg Jolly 24/01/14. Bottle share on train. Earthy aroma, subdued orange and yeast. Brown bright orange coloured heavy haze. Frothy white head. Flavour is crisp some acid, bread and dough, mineral. Harsh carbonic acid palate. Tasty enough for a light beer.

Bamberg Bash Day 1. Bottle. Cloudy amber beer, small pale cream coloured head. Palate is light and crisp. Light dry wheaty malt. Little dry cream. Touches of spice and banana and cloves. Dry crisp finish that brings mild dried fruits.
