Pours a cloudy orange color with a big, long lasting off-white head. Good estery, yeasty wheat beer aroma. Nice carbonation level, medium body, malty flavors dominate with some banana in the finish. Very good and refreshing, another tasty German wheat. Scooby (50) - Maryland, USA - NOV 25, 2002
A fairly good wheat beer. Not my favorite but I seem to run across it a lot in the states and thus drink it fairly often. CaptainCougar (7634) - Columbia, Maryland, USA - NOV 20, 2002
I actually remember having this 4 years ago on the Deutsche Bahn from Munich to Berlin, but of course this site wasn't around then, and nor did I have the beer knowledge to rate it either. Slightly peppery banana and clove aroma coming from the cloudy amber body. The head is a soft dense white. Wonderful Hefe/yeast aroma. The body is fuller than most German wheats and has caramel malty tones and a well rounded Hallertauer hop finish. It tastes just as I remember it, more or less... jpknight22 (171) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - NOV 17, 2002
I have nothing really new to add. Bready nose, sweetness present up front, and doughy palate/bready aftertaste. Very little bitterness. Good stuff.... BeyaMC (47) - Tirschenreuth, GERMANY - NOV 16, 2002
It's strength lies in the yeast. It underscores it's fresh and slightly sweet taste. Very nice appearance.

Honey colored with a lush frothy head. Pear, cider, with a touch of cinnimon and mace. Doughy wheat and yeast charactor that is given a little life by a pear charactor. Could uses a little lemon though. BeerLimey (2155) - California, USA - NOV 5, 2002
Opaque, pumpkin orangey color, great ghead formation and carbonation. Pear, banana and spice in the aroma. Medium bodied palate makes this a guzzling beer. Pear sweetness at front, turning drier towards the end. Mild banana fruitiness and slight bitterness. trappist12 (199) - Kansas City, Missouri, USA - NOV 3, 2002
simply put, yummmmm!
This beer has personality and the character to back it up. MilkmanDan (1942) - Eagan, Minnesota, USA - OCT 30, 2002
This was quite nice. Deeper colored than most weisses (weissi? weissae?), like cloudy iced tea. Very fresh and clean nose, distant hints of fruitiness. Lovely flavor, soft banana, ripe fruit, and zippy candy sugars. Slightly tart. Very pleasing texture, fuller, richer, and softer than most brews of this style. Dry finish, very crisp, and refreshing as all get out. One of the better hefes I've run into. Yum. madsberg (11866) - Søborg, DENMARK - OCT 12, 2002
UPDATED: MAR 22, 2003 Hazy orange red colour. You can find the usual banana, vanilla and cloves notes. The flavour is dry and not as distinct as in other wheats, but still its very good. Very crisp and dry aftertaste with a touch of bitterness.
