Weisse beer. Typical aromas of the style:mainly clove and some banana. But also malty notes that for me are not positive. In mouth is medium bodied and soft taste: acid in the middle and dry at the end. Too much bitter for me. Good carbonation. Not bad beer

Das Maisel’s Weisse Original aus Bayreuth. Durchschnittliches Etikett.

500 ml bottle. Pours foggy orange apricot colour. 1 finger white porous head. Stays. Okay retention. Flat carbonation. Aroma: sweet tobacco, ripe banana, toffee, spices, cellar yeast. Flavour is citric, sour apples, cider, flour. Dry, crisp & refreshing. Not the very hefeweizen I’m keen on, but very decent one.

Bardo dobry weizen. W smaku banany, goździki, lekka kwaskowość. W aromacie głównie banany. Piana obfita, trwała. Wysycenie odpowiednie. Barwa jasnopomarańczowa, mętne. Bardzo zbliżone do Schneidera.

Rigtig dejlig Weisse med en rigtig flot nærmest orange farve. Dejlig frugtagtig smag og et flot Hvidt skum

UPDATED: APR 20, 2017 (500 ml bottle) Slightly hazy, copper-golden beer, with a fast-dissipating, foamy white head. Steady carbonation from the bottom of the glass. A predominantly malty aroma: fresh wheat, kiwi, banana, bread, caramel, and orange. A touch of clove on tongue, and some retronasal yeasty aromas. This beer is surprisingly clear for a Hefeweizen. It has a fairly light palate and aroma, and is just a bit too watery. Having seen this beer had excellent reviews, I was rather disappointed.

Dark orange with nice white head. Banana, fruity and spicy finish. A nice example of a Weisse

50cl bottle purchased @ Tante Emma Laden. Belle robe jaune paille un peu trouble avec une fine mousse . Arôme de banane très léger qui se termine par du clou de girofle. Carbo parfaite et bon fruité dans l’ensemble.

Bottle. Dark orange with a decent head. Aroma of bananas and yeast. Taste dto. Sour finish. Strong carbonation and heavy mouthfeel. Ok but not the Hefeweizen of my choice.
