Bottle in café in Gent. Dark ruby-brown with small beige head. Full aroma of roasted malts, choco, red fruits. Taste is accordingly but lighter, more than medium sweet, and not feeling the heavy 12 ABV. Nice beer though.

UPDATED: NOV 10, 2016 Bottle. Pours hazy reddish brown with beige head. Aroma has some sweetness, caramel and a complexity of herbs, medicine, dried fruit and winegum. Taste is complex with dried fruits, caramel, dried fruits, herbs, winegum and liquorice. Finish is surprisingly dry and carbonation quite high.

0.33l bottle. Brownish dark amber body with a quickly disappearing beige head. Aroma of caramel, candi sugar, orange zest, cloves, blackberry, raisins and figs. The phenols are there but still quite smooth. Taste of caramel, dark sugar, sour cherry, figs, orange zest and some toast. Medium bodied with high carbonation. The high alcohol content is quite obvious, but still an awesome beer. Fits for my 1200th rating for sure :-)

Fantastiskt gott.

BOTTLE 33 CL. Rich boozy and fruity aroma, strong desert wine dried up at the bottom of your glass. Boozy, yet smooth and complex fruity character. Alcoholic spice. Very good.

Quickly fading small head. Dark red colour. Clear. Smells Belgian yeast, wine, barrel. Sweet body, lots of buckwheat honey in the taste. Very dense. Good.
