Bottle. Poured a cloudy orangish yellow with a white head. Aroma had notes of orange peel, lemon, yeast and malt. Flavor definitely had some citrus hops as well as some sweet malts. altonbrownd (5897) - Chevy Chase, Maryland, USA - NOV 11, 2009
Bottle from Bierkoning. Orange with white head. Sweet and fruity nose. Refreshing taste of fruits and citrus. Hoppy and floral finish. Nice. NosirIwont (2530) - Frederikssund, DENMARK - AUG 13, 2009
Bottle. Pours a murky yellow-orange with a white head. Sweet, fresh, faintly tart aroma. Stingy. Flowery notes. Bit of citrus. Malt and grass as it warms. Flavour is sweet and quite perfumy. Yeast notes. Grassy finish with a bit of hops. Too much carbonation. Not bad as such, but I’m not impressed. Could do without the perfumy notes. 14-08-09. imdownthepub (14547) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - AUG 2, 2009
Bottle conditioned, 330ml, from BEERmerchants of Kent. Sl hazed orange gold with white head, chunks of yeast. There is no misfortune with this, it is a sweetish malty Belgian with a touch of spice, probably at the right level for me, and an easy fruitiness. Reasonable hop note in the close, very drinkable. A hazy golden ale with a thick lacing white head. A pleasant honey and orange pulp in aroma, with lemony character, and yeast. In mouth, a nice hoppy belgian ale, with strawy character, light sweet and mineral notes, a bit of a creamy mouthfeel. Medium bodied. Bieropholie imports. BB 21-09-08. (33cl bottle) Hazy, golden colour with a big and dense foamy white head. Yeasty and sweei pale malty aroma with light notes of citrus, a tinge of honey and spicy herbal hops. Bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied with a calm carbonation. Pale malt-character with restrained fruity notes; almost dry and a bit astringent hop bitter finish with herbal spice. Good, hoppy stuff (26.IV.09). WISEGUY572 (1377) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 19, 2008
A good "session" Belgian pale. Pale hazy gold, good firm head, good lacing. Nose of citrus, yeast, bread. Taste of citrus and yeast with a spicy finish. FatPhil (16102) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - OCT 6, 2008
330ml bottle (Poirotti, Helsinki)Ober (2812) - Bommelerwaard, NETHERLANDS - SEP 13, 2008
Pale cloudy orange, healthy tight head. Big tomatoes and then honey aroma. A touch perfumey. Very simply sweet plain light malty body. Quite dull, actually. Nothing actually wrong with it, but no guts, no highlights, no bite. I want more of a crisp hop component to my blondes.
A little hazy yellow colored beer, with a big white foamy head. The aroma of sweet malts, fruits like orange and citrus and some hop in the back. The taste is fruity fresh, citrus, a little thin but a nice mouth feeling. The aftertaste is lite bitter.
