Watch out for gushers - eventhough this beer had been sitting peacefully in the fridge for a couple of months, a lot of it ended up on the floor after it was opened (so the review is based on what is left in the bottle). Pleasant yeasty and spicy aroma. Hazy yellow color, lots of carbonation and lots of stayingpower in the allwhite head. Lots of hops in the taste, not a lot of malt but with a pleasant spicyness in the aftertaste. Rather a good beer maeib (8751) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - DEC 5, 2006
Bottled. An orange coloured beer with a good white head. The aroma is yeast, peppery and lemony. The taste is more of the same and is very well balanced between the three. Tastes fresh and slips down very nicely. Fin (10837) - Merton, Oxfordshire, England, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - DEC 4, 2006
Picked this up in Antwerp October 2006. This beer poured a slightly hazy warm golden colour with a busy white frothy head. Zippy fruity, yeasty aroma, taste a bit yeasty fruity and good spiciness. Good solid reliable beer. ogivlado (7955) - Zagreb, CROATIA - OCT 25, 2006

Bottled(330ml). –Hazy pale yellow coloured, huge but short-lasting head, fresh acidic fruity nose. Lively carbonation. Aroma is malty, fruity, yeasty and slight acidic. Mild spicy finish. Refreshing.

Poured a hazy yellow/orange body with a big, thick white head that went fast. The nose is pleasant, like those tiny apples available in the summer here. The taste is pretty much typical Belgian fare, a touch of malt, apples, yeast, but with a pleasant, light hoppy bitterness. A pleasant ale that I wouldn’t mind having again.
Bottle. Hazy pale yellow coloue with a large longlasting white head. Malty spicy citrus aroma with some hints of yeast. Malty yeasty flavor with some spicy hints. Also hints of citrus. Fruity slightly yeasty spicy finish. Dedollewaitor (16357) - Odense, DENMARK - OCT 9, 2006
See through yellow with white pilsner-like head. Filling body. Aroma of spices & yeast. Little harsh bitter bite. Bubbly lively carbonation. Finish is dry and lasting. Again spicy. Good blonde. Glouglouburp (6103) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 5, 2006
UPDATED: JUL 6, 2008 In short: A light refreshing fluffy Belgian Blonde Ale. Good beermadsberg (11776) - Søborg, DENMARK - SEP 11, 2006
How: Bottle 330ml, about 3 months old
The look: Partly cloudy blonde body with lots of small particles and a huge long-lasting white head
In long: Nose and taste of of citrus, coriander and peppery spices. Fluffy meringue mouthfeel too. Dry grainy honeyed cereals. Fresh bananas, some peaches and lemon skin. Lactic/whip-cream sensation. Very yeasty but the body is rather thin and lacks malt density. Some dry grassy hops providing a light dryness an a mild bitterness. . Could almost pass as a witbier. When I’m in the mood for a light thirst-quencher this is one is a (Landt)sheer pleasure.
Bottled. Pale yellow coluored. Unclear. Huge off white dense head. Citric, fruity and light spiced aroma. Light yeast. Flavour is yeasty and spiced as well. Fruits and sweetness is there. Nicely bodied. Is refreshing in the end. Citric and light sour sweetnotes rounds it all up. Jerre (3800) - Waregem, BELGIUM - SEP 5, 2006
Aroma of citrus, bit yeast, grain and spices. Spicy and dry taste, bit crisp, quite yeasty, some citrus. Cloudy yellow color, big white head. Well balanced, but nice ale.
