At Cambrinus in Halle. Unfiltered pale ale. On the lighter side for a Belgium beer but refreshing. GonZoBeeR (3061) - ste-catherine, Quebec, CANADA - SEP 20, 2007

330 ml bottle from trade with Papsoe. Pours a cloudy golden color with nice, finger-size fluffy white head. Head lingered throughout the drink. Aroma is sweet, yeasty with some citrus fruit - lemon maybe? Taste sure is Belgian - yeast, citrus, some spice - but not distinct. Kinda weak in the Belgian flavor. Medium-to-thin mouthfeel with some carbonation. Wim (3980) - Weelde, BELGIUM - JUL 6, 2008

Clear blond coloured beer with no visible carbonation. Small white head. Malty fruity aroma. Full palate. Ending is fruity fresh and a bit bitter.

Appearance: pale yellow color. Medium head, white, rocky and not very lasting.
Aroma: enough hoppy, with herbal and some mentholated and semi-citric. To malts, yeast and bubble-gun. Light hints of chamomile, lemon skin and papaya reminiscences.
Flavor: malty start, quickly progress of yeast with earthy and bubble-gum hints. Medium and lasting dry-hoppy, some astringent, with grassy and peel lemon touches. Very slight metallic note.
Palate: light to medium body and high carbonation.
Remark: mediocre Belgian blond, some light in body. Only the hoppiness is some highlighted.

Bottled sample via lubiere. Blond in colour with a bit of haze and strong carbonation. Aromas are of pilsner malts, damp earth, yeast and mild sweet citrus. Sweetish pilsner malts and apricot lead the way in the mouth along with notes of herbal+earthy hops, wildflower honey and spicy yeast. Light bodied fruity finish. Fading a bit, but some life left. Not bad overall KyotoLefty (10254) - Kyoto, JAPAN - FEB 1, 2010
250 ml bottle.
Medium gold color with a low head. Malty, fruity aroma. Plums and pears. Light pilsner malts. Also something slightly hospital-like. Or paint thinner. Some hops in there too. Malty, sweet flavor. Rich cereals. A bit fruity. Grapes. Rather dull, but drinkable. Smooth and inoffensive, but not really sure what they are aiming at. Needs more hops for sure to be a good Belgian style light ale. It may be a bit too old, though. Drink by next Oct., but that means a few years past its best hop flavor. leaparsons (10546) - Wigston, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - MAR 21, 2004
Light gold and orange in colour with a small white head. Aromas are mellow citrus fruit, pears and spices. Flavours are mild fruity malts, pears, with spices - just like the aroma. This has a good sparkle to begin with, later it gets a bit "sticky". Not that complex. SHIG (4962) - Wasilla, Alaska, USA - JUL 17, 2006
Murky orange yellow with thick white creamy head. Sour spicy citrus smell. Nice sweet malt taste.
