Dark yellow, large head, goes off. Hoppy aroma, taste has lots of bitterness, finish is somehow sweet and nice.

UPDATED: JUN 13, 2005 (Bottle 33 cl) Orange golden hazy ale with an impressive "shaving foam" tall and stable head. Some malt, but it’s the extreme hops, that really characterizes this beer. A bitterness that lasts all the way to the palate. Impressive number of Malheur variations, that De Landtsheer produces. 071104

Ernest (7912) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - SEP 24, 2005
Bottle, Belgium, May 05. Head is initially large, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is hazy medium yellow, bottle conditioned. Aroma is moderately malty (toasted grain, bread), lightly hoppy (flowers), lightly yeasty (cobwebs, mold), with a hint of honey. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation, lightly alcoholic. My notes don’t mention where I found this, but I’m pretty sure it was at the Hotel Centrum in Beersel. And yes, it’s bottled, and 8% as you’d expect, not 6.5%.

A clear gold coloured beer, fruity aroma, finish is a little bitter and yeasty. It’s ok but there are better.

Pours a slightly hazy light copper with a white head that disappears. Sweet caramel aroma. Floral taste.

GSAP (769) - NETHERLANDS - DEC 24, 2015
Donker geel, licht troebel.
