75 cL champagne bottle. Pours deep amber with light offwhite head. Arom is yeasty, chocolate and hops. Full bodied and slight creamy feel. Flavour is sweet, subdued hops bitterness followed by a complex chocolate based bitterness palate. Lingers chocolately into the finish, a touch of alcohol reaches the nose in the finish. I had this at home for desert with a chocolate mousse, which I can only recommend :) Ungstrup (38249) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - APR 15, 2004
A clear brown beer with a small light brown head. The aroma is sweet caramel with notes of raisins and plums. The flavor is sweet with notes of raisins, plums, and wood. It is very sparkling before a dry hoppy end sets in. The flavor and dryness in the end is a bit more than I'd prefer, but it is still a really good beer. joergen (28992) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAY 25, 2005

750 ml bottle. Somewhat more rich and more complex than its Brut brother, and certainly more interesting than its Deus brother and a fraction of the cost. Try it after a few yers of storage. cgarvieuk (25744) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - OCT 29, 2011

Bottled. Dark brown, very lively. Chocolatey, sweet nose. Almondy and salty with grassy hops and notes of banana and yeast. Elegant soft mouthfeel. Lightly vinous. Dry finish. madmitch76 (25383) - , Essex, ENGLAND - JAN 3, 2011
Warning! Early amateur rating! Frothy beer! Creamy and quite a light palate. Nice dark malts - never too bitter or roasty. Easy to drink but packs a wallop!
