Tap in de Vlaamsche Reus. Raar bier. Combinatie tussen een vrij licht blond bier en iets van een licht fruitige droge witte wijn of een cider ofzo. Weet niet zo goed wat ik er van vind, maar interessant genoeg.

Mooi goudblond biertje met parelende witte schuimkraag. Mooi bloemig aroma. Lekkere frisse smaak van citrus, vlierbloesem, hop, limoentaartje. Heerlijke licht bittere afdronk. Topbier !!

Pours a slightly hazy blond yellow color with white head. Citrus, funk, bread, grass, and some herbal floral notes on the nose; follows onto the palate. Medium bodied. Finishes with citrus and funk.

0,3/ca.5.

Only mildly citrus aromatic. Only... vaguely... bitter... Soft, not outspoken.

Blond with lasting head. Aroma and flavour are floral, citrusy and a bit soapy. Surprisingly strong!

Bottle (75cl) from Dranken Geers, Oostakker, Nr Gent, Belgie, consumed at mums, Worcester, Friday 6th May 2016 Pours gold edging towards amber/orange with a large off white big frothy head. Fresh, clean nose some herbs, a little zesty and then yeasty. Plenty of spiciness in the mouth, fruity with a soft mouthfeel. It is hoppy and there is a bitterness but amazed at the 60 IBU, I think that the typical Belgian yeast elements have all but swamped many of the typical IPA characteristics. I like this, Malheur make some great beers and this is a worthy addition to their selection but unlike Troubadour or Dochthor De Korenaar the need to work on IPAs a little longer. Malheur Zestig Ap: 4 P: 3 T: 6 A: 6 O: 11 750ml bottle, thanks to alexsdad06 for sharing. Mostly hazy golden color. Thin white head. Leaves good ridges of lace. Bready, cake-like malt. Kind of spicy and peppery. Moderate to bigger sweet taste, lighter to moderate bitter, mild spicy bite. Light to moderate carbonation. Light, kind of crisp carbonation. More dry. OK tripel. Not great for me though. Kind of malty, overly dry.
