2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Can 0,33 l, 5,5%. It’s amber, very little head, lace more or less. Nose is pretty non-existent, some maltiness, syrup maybe. Flavor has malts, syrup, kind of dull all the way. I made the mistake of expecting an amber ale, but I guess this is just a slightly darker lager. Not exactly a bad one, but when you expect something, you may end up disappointed.
Draft at the SOPP 2014. Honestly, quite blend, looks like a lager and tastes like one. Sorry, nothing special but not that bad either. VastActiv (7657) - Oulu/Helsinki, FINLAND - DEC 24, 2013

Pours amber color with a small head. Aroma of fruits, resin, some caramel and grain. Flavor is the same with toffee and pale malts.
Aroma has bread, bit nuts and caramel. Color is nice clear red/brown with short head. Also taste has mostly bread, nuts and caramel. Some herbs in finish. Soft feel, medium body, dry, finish medium long. Ok beer has kinda british feel in it’s malting.

33 cl can @ home. Rated on 02.01.2011 Erasmus_ro (3199) - Alabama, USA - MAY 16, 2012
Aroma has grainy malt, some slight hops and berries. Flavour feels starchy and stale with grainy malt and some berries. Too stale and starchy, I find the 4,7% version better.
UPDATED: JUL 11, 2012 Can. Pours a translucent, almost ruby red with a small, off-white head. Aroma is Vienna-style malts, breadiness, slight herbal tones, slight metallic tones as well. Taste is a lot of bready malts, some rye bread flavor there as well, slight Vienna-malt fruitiness. Some herbal hops in the finish. Dries up on the finish as well. Palate is medium, quite carbonated. Surprisingly good. Would drink again. hlkanga (333) - - MAY 5, 2012
330 ml can. Pours clear amber with a minimal white head. Slightly earthy aroma with bready malt, butter and syrup. Caramel sweetness in the mild malty taste. Slightly bitter in the end. Light to medium bodied with a slick mouthfeel. A decent but a bit dull beer. Too sweet and malty. kerolasa (409) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - APR 12, 2012
Short white head, colour with little red in it looks a lot like British ales. Smell gives primarily malts, and some hops. First taste is bitter and down to earth muddy, very basement like. I’m not sure if amber beer is meant to be like this, but not minding that I still find this rather interesting for supermarket category.
