Marstonlad (1022) - Helsinki, FINLAND - NOV 15, 2017
Bottle from Alko, Helsinki. Pours black with a huge dense head. Despite color the aroma features mostly elements that are typical to saisons: fresh citrusy fruitiness in a yeasty, slightly spicy, barnyardish setting. Fairly strong presence of hops as well. Taste is crisp and lightly sour, the finish bitter. Fairly hoppy for a saison. Flavours of pale fruitiness and yeasty spiciness rise again to the forefront with supporting maltiness appearing in the background. The palate is medium-bodied, the carbonation lively. Interesting style hybrid. Color leads easily astray; taste and aroma are not as far way from standard saisons as the blackness suggests. TET (3348) - Kaarina, FINLAND - SEP 24, 2017

A very dark brown beer with a creamy well lasting head. Sweet nose with notes of sour cherries, chokolate and coffee beans. Dry, tart flavor with a somewhat bitter, tanninic finish. High carbonation and light palate. Not very balanced, such dark beers shouldn’t be this dry. TBone (18815) - Pori, FINLAND - JUN 11, 2017
Tap at Beer Hunters. Opaque black color, medium-sized beige head. Herbal, piney, toasted aroma. Medium-bodied. Toasted flavor with saison white pepperness. Piney hoppyness. Rye is also there. Interesting.

Saisony aroma, a bit dirty, some fruitiness. Clear dark red, small tight head. Sweetish saisony taste, has a drying aspect to it. Light body, moderate carbonation. Finish similar to the taste, but shows a nice bitterness. Decent drinkability, not showing any particular alcohol component. A bit odd.
Tap @TCBW 2017. Very dark brown color. Huge size, beige head, stays. Looks nice. Metallic, citrus, floral, ginger, herbal, yeasty in aroma. Citrus, coffee?, floral, woody, herbal, licorice in taste. Soft carbonation. Malty and earthy in aftertaste. Somewhat harsh to drink. Weird brew. VastActiv (8151) - Oulu/Helsinki, FINLAND - MAY 8, 2017
