Cask (3.7%), 1/2 pint by hand-pump at Bon Accord, Glasgow on 16 Oct 2017: fruity, grassy aroma, golden with a thin white head and irregular pattern of lacing, blackcurrant, grassy, herbal flavour, dry bitter aftertaste.

Pudding (266) - Birmingham, West Midlands, ENGLAND - JUN 29, 2017
500ml, bottle-conditioned. Pours clear gold, with thick white, diminishing head. Aroma and taste: blackcurrant/citrus. Appropriate bitterness. Dry rather than sweet. Overall: powerfully flavoured golden ale.

BlackHaddock (7583) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - MAY 30, 2017
Cask half-pint at The Pheasant Inn, Wellington Shropshire on 30th May 2017. Clear golden pour, white head. Piney hop nose with a slight fruity note or two: the taste was hop bitter and again with a slight fruity trace, didn’t get any Blackcurrent though.

MrTipple (5956) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 30, 2017
Grain malts, bread, caramel, straw, hay. Clear gold, small, creamy, white head. Light bitter. More grain malts, rye bread, light orange, toasted malts, soft carbonation, medium bodied. Decent Gokden Ale, nothing too special though. Cask at The Old Bell, Harrogate.

Hopverdju (1432) - BELGIUM - MAY 10, 2016
Fles. Goudblond bier met rijke mooie schuimkraag. Geur: fruitig en ongelooflijk, werkelijk een cassis geur! Smaak: scherp bitter, iets citrus en harsachtig. Goede koolzuurprikkel. Afdronk bitterig. Lekker bitter bier.

jamestulloch (4270) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - APR 6, 2016
Bottle. Hazy golden body with a medium white head. Lively carbonation. Good lacing. Aroma of peppery malt and shortbread. Flavour of earth, tonic water and underripe pear. Thin to medium body with a light, oily texture. Fizzy carbonation. Simple and subtle.

Mr_Pink_152 (5416) - Lincoln, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - JUN 15, 2015
500ml bottle from Cotteridge Wines. Hazy golden colour, with a foamy white head. Aroma has mainly citrus, taste has a bitter finish. Ok but not great.

JohnCook101 (535) - - MAY 10, 2015
Hazy amber, very small slightly off-white head. Aroma is light, citric. Citrus and pine flavours. Very simple. Really powerful bitter finish that overwhelms everything else. Uncomplicated, perhaps unsophisticated but pleasant.

harrisoni (19169) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - MAY 4, 2015
Bottle from Strand Wines Walmer and drunk on a train. Hazy pale gold lasting white head. Really fruity aroma. Yes that lovely hedgerow fruit. Another effortless spot on outstandingly brilliant single hop Mallinson beer. Captures the essence of the hop and tastes wonderful. This is how to do a single hop golden ale. Wow. The black berry and black currant flavour is great. Excellent bitterness. Just top notch.

jamesie1857 (1975) - Sheffield, South Yorkshire, ENGLAND - MAR 8, 2015
Cask at Three Tuns, Dronfield - Clear yellow body, thin white foam. Nose is an odd berry like aroma, little bit of citrus. Taste is cereal and a fruit berry background. Nothing too unpleasant but I’m not a fan.
