Clear golden colour, medium-sized white head. Light lemony, like they say, zesty. Light-bodied. Lemon zesty flavour, flowery notes but also a bit grainy-harsh finish. Lingering bitterness in the aftertaste. Aroma beats flavour.
Bottle. Hazy golden body with a lasting white head. Low carbonation. Good lacing. Aroma of nettles, biscuit and grain. Flavour of grass, mint and lemon. Thin to medium body with an oily mouthfeel. Soft fizz. I hate to say it but these single-hop Mallisons beers are starting to merge into one another. I’d love to see Mallinsons let their creative juices flow instead of playing it safe. , Birmingham. Golden beer with small head. Aroma is floral with light grapefruit. Taste is a touch of pine resin, peach and pale malts. Decent.
Cask at Holborn Whippet. Clear gold lasting white head. Slightly soapy golden ale still got the quality of a Mallinson beer just the hop makes it a little soapy good bitterness though. Good condition good bitterness. Spiced soap sounds terrier ended up being dry spicy and interesting mR_fr0g (14242) - Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - MAR 5, 2016
