Great Golden Ale. I love the hops, the citrus hits through really nicely. Could drink this all day if there was a little less effervescence, though it does match the brew nicely. cgarvieuk (24236) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - APR 22, 2012
bottle at The Danish Invasion tasting ...golden yellow ... thin white head ... soapy grapefruit ... light bitter front ... dull light toffee ... some dried mango ... this is just lacking a little life ... might have been better fresher DruncanVeasey (8225) - NUNEATON, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - APR 15, 2012
500ml bottle. Clear-to-misting yellow gold with a fine cap of froth. Lime, mango, pineapple and green stems aroma. Soft and full with a fine- moussed mouthfeel; notes of mango, lemon zest and flowers and a robust bitter hop and husky malt finish. Predictably excellent.

500ml bottle- no. 16 in the Now That’s What I Call Hops series. Pale and dusted with fine bits in suspension and a low wisp of suds. Straight fruit salad aroma: red grape, Galia melon, pineapple chunks, Gala apple. Wriggle of shaggy pub dog and Pimms-with-mint leafiness as it warms. Flavour a slightly diluted version of the aroma, with added peach, elderflower, quinine and dunked rich tea. Very, very bitter..tonic water is not an exaggeration- virtually no malt softness to fall back on whatsover, just relentless, scouring, stripped to the bone bitterness. Hints of pollen and petals, but too much would be girly. A delightful, thickly-accented, slightly perfumed punch in the face- if there was a button I could press to deliver the first 15 beers in the series to my door I’d press it.
Brilliant nose- mango, sharp grapefruit, girly shampoo. Very pale with a slight haze and reasonable lacing. Very pleasant for percentage. Getting a slight hint of sulphur though. Really pithy. Fin (10478) - Merton, Oxfordshire, England, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - MAR 22, 2012
Cask, handpump at The Star, Huddersfield 17.03.12 in company of dad & Barry Gold in colour with a white head, very clear. Nose is fresh and zingy but with a touch of cats piss coming from somewhere. Fruity & tasty with plenty of citrus zipping through, drying at end, lovely beer, in fact a really lovely beer. If I had a criticism it would be that this is just the tiniest bit thin which may be a bit harsh otherwise excellent stuff. A7 A5 T7 P4 Ov14 3.7

Bottle from Jacks, Westholme Stores, Goring-on-Thames, Oxon Dec 2011 & shared with my dad. Consumed 30.12.11 Hazy light lemony colour with a slim white head. Wonderful aroma, really sumptious soft cooking lemons. Soft in the mouth, with a rub of lemon across the roof of the mouth and around the gums, touch soapy, this is wonderful. A8 A4 T8 P4 Ov16 4.0
