Hazy orange - gold beer, tidy off white head. Crispy palate - light. The malt has a familiar Mallinsons soapy streak. Mild fresh hops - orange and tangerine pith. Semi dry finish with a mild bitter linger and a spot more soap! Overall the hops redeem this.
bottle at home ... golden yellow amber ... big white head ...soft light lemon ... soft grassy nose... little fizzy ... soft orange ... dry bitternes ... little oily lemon and a herbal linger JohnCook101 (535) - - NOV 11, 2012
500ml bottle. Pours cloudy golden with a little sediment. No real head. Light citrus aroma. Plenty of hops with heavy dry citrus flavours. A long finish with a bitterness that lingers and develops to become quite intense as you make your way through the glass. Fairly high carbonation, would rather it be a little less gassy but overall this is a very nice well-hopped pale ale. fonefan (49996) - VestJylland, DENMARK - OCT 18, 2012

Clear medium yellow colour with a small large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, moderate hoppy, grass. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration. Good balanced. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat.
500ml bottle. Minimally cloudy pale golden colour with average, firm, frothy, white head. Floral and grassy hop aroma, a citrus touch. Taste is initially fresh pale malty with spicy, yeasty overtones, then fruity and citrussy notes come in, some husky notes remain; dry to bitter and slightly grassy hoppy finish. Nice composition. zacgillbanks (5356) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - JUN 10, 2012
Bottle from Rehills in Newcastle. Cloudy golden coloured with citrus and grapefruit flavours and a bitter sweet floral finish. Another cracking beer from Mallinsons. DanielBrown (4527) - Birmingham (via Leicester), West Midlands, ENGLAND - MAY 8, 2012
Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Pours hazy gold, with a lot of sediment. Smells drily cascadey, which is pretty pleasant. The mouthfeel is slightly dry and a has a plastic or perhaps faint artificiality which hangs over the otherwise very pleasant hops. Malt backbone is evident, which offers a dryness and a slight lack of flavour in the finish, which is understandable for the abv. All in all, a very drinkable Golden, with a nice hop bite, which has some chalk and pine lint.

It’s ok is all. Nicely flavoured malt citrus. Average to good aroma and taste that lingers short iammarc (385) - Inverness, SCOTLAND - APR 26, 2012
500ml from Tomlinsons. Cracked this beauty open expecting a barrage of hop smells to fire out at me, but left a little underwhelmed. Citrus nose, limey, a little grassy. Couldn’t really pick out the cascade hops. Took heed of the "may contain sediment" warning, then ignored it and poured a little in anyway - cloudy off-golden appearance with a spotless white head, very nice to look at.
After my mouth fought its way past bits of yeast floaters (not a bad thing, mind) I got in about the good stuff, tasting limes, with a medium bitter taste all around the mouth. The finish is sharp but lengthy enough for a 3.9% - a little salty. Average carbonation.
Fairly enjoyable - a good session beer, but expected more hoppy-ness on the nose.
